Sunsine, Friends, and Rainbow hair
Marian was walking running towards the lake. She had heard from an older student that on warm days like this, the giant squid will bask in the warm shallows, letting sudents tickle his tentacles. She had just finished her hard transfiguration homework, and deserved a break. When she got there, Marian pulled up her robes and waded in knee-deep. She glanced around at the other students wading in the lake, a couple crazy students even swimming. School was light over the summer, and Marian had not that much homework, and if she did, it was easy. Except, of course for the transfiguration homework, which stayed consistently hard and annoying summer or winter, raining, snowing, or even a warm day like this.
Marian tried to breathe, to relax, letting her worries flow out of her body and into the depths of the Great Lake. In, out, in, out. It wasn't working. Focus, Marian, focus on your worries sinking to the bottom. Going away. forever. Hey, she forgot about them for a second there. Maybe if I distract myself. I'm going to go try to tickle the giant squid.
More like the squid tickled her. She started giggling, then laughing, then she lost it. She was laughing like a madman. a couple people stared staring at her she giggled her way toward the edge where she could sit.
