Hogwarts had several different locations around the castle that the students enjoyed being around, but it seemed that the Courtyard was one of the most popular places to hang out. Lorcan McCoire on the other hand spent time all over the place. The young Slytherin child had trouble standing in one spot, even if he was in the middle of a conversation with someone. He would end up pacing back and forth, like some evil villain but the boy was far from that. In fact, Lorcan was your average boy with a ton of energy to burn and had a bad habit of finding ways to prank those closest to him, especially Liam and Colin!

It was about mid-day and the sun was shining bright with obvious signs of spring in the air. The snow had melted just after spring break ended, leaving the ground still damp and muddy. Lorcan McCoire was currently playing a game that was created by Ciarán and himself. It was called Dragon Hunters! Of course, Lorcan was being a jerk and made his twin sister be the dragon so that he could try to hunt her down within the corridors of the castle. Hogwarts was huge, so it was rather easy to get lost inside, but lucky for the McCoire twins, they had played through the halls all year long and knew exactly where to go.

Once Lorcan found a nice little corner to snug up against, he began to slow their breathing and watch for Ciarán. The young Slytherin was only hiding for a short time when their twin sister came walking around the corner with both eyes looking around to find their little brother. It was rather funny for Lorcan because he was watching Ciarán search up and down the hallway, looking under the occasional bench, even trying to peek behind the portraits. That was when Lorcan chuckled lightly and their sister heard it, twisting their neck towards the sound her brother made.

Lorcan knew he was going to be spotted, so he quickly pushed off the wall and began to sprint down the hallway that would lead him to the courtyard. "Eat my dust, Ci-Ci!!" He shouted along the way. The boy was having fun and thought he would certainly get away with ease. Unfortunately, just when Lorcan turned the corner and enter the courtyard, both of his feet slipped in the mud and caused the boy to slide in a straight line before wiping out completely. With the fountain nearby and others around, Lorcan couldn’t help but to let out a playful laugh. "Oi! You didn’t see anything, I promise." He said while still laughing from the fall to the familiar face near the fountain.

SONG FOR THE THREAD┊
Wren was curled up on the ledge of fountain huddled over her book that her beloved had given to her, he had left here without so much as a goodbye. The part she was most upset about was she was almost finished with her book and now she wouldn't be able to discuss it with him. A single tear ran down her cheek as she continued reading. She heard a thud next to her and didn't even bother to look up but merely rolled her eyes. Unfortunately her peace wouldn't last because the person started talking.

She glanced over at them and noticed it was a boy with white hair and blue eyes, she squinted at him these features were familiar to her well the eyes weren't exact but they looked almost identical. Then it hit her and she was instantly full of rage. It was one of the McCoires, it just had to be and they got Arg sent away and she wanted revenge."You disgusting piece of filth" she snarled at him and pushed herself off the bench. "Get away from me" she screamed at him, tears now rolling down her cheeks. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at him. She wasn't gonna do anything with it. She just wanted to give him a fright.

It's good to stir up a little trouble in the family!

Lorcan had no idea who was sitting on the edge of the bench, but it seemed that his presence in general upset the young girl. She lashed out with anger that echoed throughout the courtyard and Lorcan looked a bit shocked at first. But the expression quickly switched to a sad demeanor as the young girl stood from the bench. "Oi, yer such a meanie!" He retaliated with his own words, while standing back to their feet with mud dripping down the robes the young Slytherin was wearing. Lorcan tried to wipe the mud free from the black robe, but the slimy substance stuck to his hand, so he quickly whipped their hands downward to allow gravity to do its magic.

Once some of the mud was free from Lorcan’s hands, he looked up at Wren and began to shake his head lightly. "Yeah, well, you smell funny." He stated with a serious tone. Lorcan had his full attention on the girl now and as more time seemed to pass by, the more of a bad feeling he was getting from her, as if she hated him for a reason he had no control over. But knowing Lorcan, he would attempt to stand back and be friendly as usual.
