Summer, Oh Summer.
Elizabeth would most definitely not consider herself a winter type of person; she hated all things cold, and you would more often than not find her hidden underneath layers of blankets and sweaters during the cold nights in the Ravenclaw tower. However, after being away at Hogwarts for the past year, summer had become her least favorite season.
At Hogwarts, Liz was free to express her magic and be the person who she really was, and she didn't need to worry about anybody breathing down her back to be a prim and proper princess. Once she got back home, she found that her father had only become more strict since September. The moment she had walked into the house, she had received nothing more than a nod from her father. He hadn't even come to pick her up at the train station; he had sent his chauffeur to wait for her outside. Once she arrived at the house, her younger siblings had all pestered her with questions about what the castle was like, who her friends were, etc... But her father had shown no interest, and her step mother had been gone to work, unaware her step daughter was returning that day.
Since her return in Edinburgh, Elizabeth had been doing any and everything she could to stay out of the house. She walked the neighbors dogs, she volunteered to deliver newspaper, or she would just go for walks, finding a nice place to just sit and read. Sometimes she would reminisce about her time at Hogwarts. Whenever she saw a lake, she would think of the friendly rock skipping competition between herself and Constantine. Books would make her think of the strange encounter in the hallway with Maisy, John and Khris. Whenever her siblings irritated her, she was very strongly reminded of the absolutely pompous Thomas, whom she still held a mild loathing for.
Needless to say, she missed everything about Hogwarts, even the bad parts. She only wished she had friends nearby who knew of magic, and had gone to Hogwarts, so she could talk about things with them, and be as energetic as she'd been at the wizarding school.
On this particularly warm day, Elizabeth was going down to the lake for a swim. She knew about a little area that was secluded, so she wouldn't be bothered by the other children in the town, and she could sunbathe afterwards. She'd found it on one of her many walks, and had been visiting it periodically through the summer. Every time, she had been alone, and she'd stayed for hours. But of course, today had to be different; when Liz reached the small lake, she found that she wasn't alone, and her hiding spot was no longer a secret.

Summer, Oh Summer.
It was a nice summer day and Eri needed some time to relax at the lake. She didn't go with her brothers since they didn't like to relax. It was all about fun with them. Which she didn't mind, but today she just wanted to relax. So she had with her in a bag a towel, goggles, flippers, swim cap, and a kick board so she could practice her swimming.
The brunette found a small part of the lake where nobody was so she thought it would be perfect to swim in. So she walked down and put her bag next to a rock and took off her bathing suit cover up. She was wearing a black and red suit. She put her goggles on and jumped into the water. And started swimming a bit farther out from the shore.
After a little bit of swimming she decided to just float on her back just to relax. The sun was shining and it reflected off of the lake giving it a small glow and it was beautiful. It wouldn't bother Eri if anyone came she didn't mind. Though it would be nice to talk to someone from Hogwarts about magic.

Summer, Oh Summer.
"Oy!"
Elizabeth didn't know why she was angry that there was another person at her secret spot, but she wasn't going to spend too long pondering over that. The hat was right to place her in Gryffindor, because she most certainly was not afraid of anything, particularly speaking her mind.
"What dae ya think yer doin' here, mate? Does this look like a public pool?" She said irritably, her Scottish accent extremely prominent as she spoke. She walked up closer to the girl who was laying in the water motionless, and prepared to say more.
"I tell ya, I come here every day, and there's nobody here, but the one day I need a break- hey wait." She stopped for a moment and looked carefully at the girl.
"I recognize ya... You were in mah charms class, weren't ya?" She asked carefully. Something about the girl in front of her screamed familiar, and she couldn't stop herself from asking. Technically, she could've just exposed the entire wizard world to a muggle who looked exactly like another student, but Liz couldn't have cared less. She had possibly just found a friend to spend time with in the summer, that is, if she didn't turn out to be as pompous and annoying as Thomas Lurking. Now talk about a know it all.
"I'm Elizabeth Summers. Gryffindor. You can call me Liz."
I know they've never had any interactions, but it's a bit easier to say they had a class together

TRAVELING the world was always something Tasha had dreamed of doing. One day, when she was an adult, she wished to have traveled the entire world. To have visited every. Single. Country. Natasha had once met a man (he was her father's college friend, they later ended up working at the same firm) who knew everything there was to know about geography. Her and her sister, Dasha, had played a game with him - they had tried to trip him up, see if he really did know every country and its capital. They had failed. This man could not be tricked. Tasha had respected this man. She wanted to be just like him - in that he was knowledgeable. The true Ravenclaw came out in her when she had spoken to him.
NOW, Tasha got the chance to begin her dream. Her mother had suggested traveling around the UK a bit during the summer, to help get their children acquainted with the new area. The UK was quite different from Russia, where the girl had been born, and so her father had agreed. The first place they decided to visit was Scotland, rumored for its beauty and waters. Sure, it was the place where Hogwarts was - but Natasha hadn't had the chance to explore it outside of the castle, so her mother thought it would be the best place to start. Getting to know the place where her school was seemed to be a pretty good way to spend her summer.
NATASHA, when she heard this proposition, did not protest. What was there to protest? She really did want to learn more about Scotland, and besides, this was better than nothing. So she went to her room and packed up her things, and a few days later she would herself staying in a rented cottage near Edinburgh with her entire family. The first two days of their stay, the Belikovs had gone to every museum they could, learning as much as possible. Now, her mother had let Natasha and her siblings do whatever it was they wanted. Her brother, Sasha, had dashed off as soon as their mama had finished her sentence, presumably to some local park or pub or something. Dasha had preferred to stay at home, spending some time with her parents. That left Natasha to her own devices, so she decided to go hunt for something to do.
WHAT was there to do here? The moment she stepped outside, she wanted to turn back around and join Dasha. But she knew that if she wanted to get over this little shyness of hers, she'd have to GO OUT and find some people to become friends with. She wandered around for a bit, and soon, the heat began to get to her. She berated herself for deciding to wear a long sleeved shirt on this particular day, and started to look around for a pool or lake of some sort. Before she could find one, she was distracted by a girl who looked to be her age, and vaguely familiar as well. Curious, Natasha decided to follow the long-haired girl, walking behind her in a totally not creepy manner, until she reached just what she was looking for. A lake. Sighing out loud, Natasha ran towards the lake (uncaring that she had blown her cover and now, the girl she was following would know that she was following her) and waded up until the edges of her shorts. She tilted her head back and looked at the sky, unaware that there was not one, but two girls at the lake. The one she was following, apparently called Liz, seemed to be scolding the other girl for being at her 'secret spot.' Natasha's face reddened. She didn't know this was a special spot for the girl!
"I am so sorry, I did not realize this was so special to you," Natasha managed out, walking out of the pool. "I will leave, I just needed to cool off for a bit, the heat was melting me."
HER words spilling out of her mouth, Tasha sheepishly looked at the two girls. Just as she was about to run out of there, she realized that they were, indeed, familiar. Tasha must have not heard Liz's introduction as a Gryffindor in her nervousness, but now she was realizing that she knew them! Especially the other girl; she was a Ravenclaw, just like herself!
"DO you... You attend Hogwarts, no?" squinting, Tasha now knew for a fact that she had found two other magical children. How lucky was she? She would be here for a week, if not more, and she would have the chance to spend the rest of it with two kids who knew about magic - not only that, but they attended Hogwarts! "My name is Natasha Belikov, but my parents call me Tasha. I can still leave, if you'd like me to?"
HER accent always came out the more nervous she got; thus, her words were now layered with a thick Russian accent. But at least she hadn't run away yet, as compared to what she would have done before she had decided to turn over this new leaf.

Summer, Oh Summer.
Eri swam towards the shore towards the girl who was yelling at her. It wasn't her place. The brunette didn't see a name. But she wasn't going to shout out loud. No she would go up to the girl and say what she wanted to say to her face. Then the girl stopped and started asking if she was from her charms class. Well she had recognized her from Charms class. But she didn't know that until she had a closer look at the girl. She was now certain she was from her charms class at Hogwarts.
"I recognize you. I have seen you in my charms class before. Also the names Eri windstone. Nice to officially meet you." Then the brunette sees someone she doesn't really know. But they could talk. But right now the girl who had started fussing at her for being in her sacred Lake spot had her attention. It was a bit intriguing to the you g Ravenclaw that this girl recognized her from all the way over there but you never know how good people's eyesight is. Anyway this could be a good opportunity for making new friends she could have for the next year.
