Ravenclaw won the duel. Yippie! He was really envious of Alyssea's Reparifors and a little bit afraid of it. After the announcement, he decided to visit Alyssea in the Hospital Wing. He had many reasons to visit her. First, she was his friend. So he was worried. Second, he felt sorry since he was the one that made her unconscious. In his defence, it was competition. He couldn't help but do it. He didn't think that Ventus would make her unconscious. It was just the wind after all. And the third, he wanted to ask about the rumour between her and that Clark boy.

He entered the Hospital Wing and looked for his brown-haired Hufflepuff friend. It was pretty crowded inside. Perhaps, it was because of the sports day. Well, he couldn't blame it. Sports in Hogwarts always brought casualties. Always.

His eyes caught her. She was lying on the bed. Zach quickened his pace towards her bed. She was still not conscious yet. I think it's better for me to bring something. What things do people usually bring to the hospital? Is flower okay? His thoughts were full of wonder. Then he remembered he learnt one spell that conjures a bouquet of flowers.

Zach pulled out his wand, waved it in a circular motion towards the side table and cast, "Orchideus." The bouquet of flowers was conjured on the table. "Great," he smiled. Then Alyssea started to wake up. Zach waited for her until her consciousness was full.

"Haha, yeah... I enjoyed it. Your team has an unexpected combo. It's annoying but I like it. Also, I'm sorry for the Ventus," He smiled softly. It was awkward. Zach immediately spoke again, "How do you feel?" with a concerned tone.

The day was busy. Moreso than usual. Which really didn't surprise her. It was the second stage of Duelling, and Dusanas first time organising the choas of dozens of students being admitted to the Hospital Wing. She'd started off the day at the Club rooms, watching the duellists step up to the plate, but by the end of the first matches had made her way down to the third floor and the place where her expertise would be needed the most. She wasn't about to let her assistants be overrun.

"If you're injured, take a seat on a bed. I'll get to you as I can. If you're bringing someone in, set them down. I will be triaging everyone." The words dripped from her lips like honey. She was here to care and heal, no matter that her mouth was becoming sandpaper from having to repeat herself. Had she had lunch today? A drink even?

People were flocking to and fro, busy little bees inside a hive of chaos. It was as she went to grab herself a much needed sip of tea that she noticed one of her patients awake. A swish of her wand, and a quiet "Wingardium Leviosa," she floated three cups full of lukewarm tea and a plate full of biscuits as she made her way towards the young Hufflepuff.

She wasn't the first one there as another boy had gotten there first. She raised an sleek eyebrow at the boy, before depositing the tea cups and biscuits on the bedside table next to the bed and casting a critical, Healers eye over the girl. "Glad to see you're awake, young Badger. And that you have nice friends. Have some tea and biscuits." Seeing nothing of great concern, she took that moment to take a breather for herself. "You're friend is right. How do you feel?"

after the stage 2 duels

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a teacup floating her way. While folding her body in half to prop herself up was fine, but the slight movement of her legs to stabilise herself sent her wincing. Alyssea tentatively moved her leg again when a shooting pain stopped her from moving it more. As she leaned against the bed's backboard and took the cup in her hands, she said, "Thank you, miss. I think I hurt my ankle. His Ventus-" Alyssea tilted her head towards Zach- "Hit me while I was dodging another spell."

Alyssea chuckled as she thought about the 'unexpected combo' Zach mentioned. "You mean the Steleus and Bogies' Curse? I'm not actually sure where that one came from," she said as she awkwardly scratched the back of her head, "But I guess it can be something we use for next stage. It wasn't a bad combo."

The Hufflepuff looked around the Hospital Wing, finally taking notice of the flowers on her bedside. She looked at Zach again and whispered a 'thank you' before looking around again. Who was she looking for? Axyen and Clark. Axyen fell before her so it would make sense if he was here. Clark? She blacked out before she could find out what happened to that goblin.

Clark. His performance wasn't awful... except maybe for the opening which broke their entire game, but he made up for it in the end. Maybe. Alyssea sighed. "Well, I did my best. Can't say the same for one of my teammates, though..."

It's the new school nurse. What's her name again? Oh! Dusana Sabo. Zach smiled awkwardly at the nurse, “Uh.. Hello Nurse Sabo.” The boy automatically moved backwards for a bit to give her a space to visit Alyssea. Perhaps, the nurse wanted to do some examination on her.

The boy nodded and giggled. “Yeah, that combo.” It was a really interesting combo for Zach. He wondered if his team could use that combo for the next stage. “It's indeed not a bad combo.” Grinned was bloomed on his face, imagining the scene where he could use the combo.

Zach smiled when he heard the whisper of the Hufflepuff. Then, Alyssea seemed to look for something. Or someone? Zach didn't know. He looked at the same direction as Alyssea to guess what was she looking for. He heard a sigh from the girl. “Yeah. You did great on the stage. I wish we couls be on the same team. But can we?” He chuckled and shook his head. The answer was definitely no. They came from the different house.

Then the boy remembered something. “You know… I heard you're dating this Clark boy.. I mean, Clark. Is it that one who is in the same team as you?” he smirked. Some of his friends were all lovey dovey. It was interesting for him to know about their story. "Well, I'm a little bit expecting that you would tell me about him," he said.

Alyssea shrugged with a slight smile on her face. It would be nice, for once, to be on the same team as Zach. One of their first interactions had been her first ever duel (to get a feel for the sport) that she lost by a margin; she only managed to make it to the end without falling unconscious by sheer determination. Then, they became racing captains and faced each other for their first races. The Ravenclaws had won that one by a stroke of unluckiness on the Hufflepuffs' end. Then, this. Losing yet another thing to Zach. You would think that, after having the same opponent for a few games, you'd start figuring out their strategy and start to undermine them, but Alyssea could never find Zach's Achilles' heel even after all this.

"Maybe one day." Alyssea shrugged. "Like, an unofficial game of sports."

The next few words would absolutely crush her soul.

Dating Clark? Where did that come from? Alyssea had so many questions circling her head and there was no doubt her face showed it all. She had first interacted with Clark in the Hufflepuff common room and throwing a book in his face (deserved). Then, she had to fish him out of the lake after he had the brilliant idea of swimming in the lake. They had a few meetups after that... did it look like a date?

(Alyssea completely forgot the time she snuck out of Hufflepuff to meet him by the lake. He had prepared a charcuterie board by the water.)

Alyssea sputtered. "I, uhh, yeah, Clark was one of my teammates today. But... we're not dating. At least, I don't think we are?" The confusion didn't make her feel easy on the topic. "He's fine when he's not being a menace to society. We exchanged Christmas gifts..."

The memory came rushing back to her and dread soon followed.

She buried her face in her hands and felt the heat on her cheeks. "Oh god, I hope I didn't agree to date him while I was under the potion," she mumbled.

Dusana continued her work of caring for Alyssea as she spoke with the other boy, a close friend if she could tell her relationships right. Even though she loved tea, she wasn't one to sit and listen with rapture at teen love. It made her scrunch up her nose an little if she was honest. So, as she checked her over, she tuned most of their conversation out. It was only when Alyssea mentioned a potion that Dusana tuned back in.

She sharply turned her head, her blonde bob coming across her face in a flurry. Spitting hair out of her mouth she narrowed her eyes on the girl. "Potion? What potion? Surely you wouldn't be idiotic enough to drink some unknown potion." She sighed, long and drawn out, closing her eyes at the amount of effort it took not to berate this young girl. "Can you describe it to me? What it looked like? Smelt like? Tasted like?" The barrage of quick fired question left her mouth, and a small twinge of Dusana felt for the girl, but seriously. She needed to know. With all the information she would have a clearer picture of what she was dealing with.

Her next question was addressed to the both of them. "And who is this Clark?" Her eyes narrowed suspiciously. She would definitely be following this up with his Head of House. People couldn't just hand out unknown potions, even if others were willing to take them. Her Hospital would be overrun, and there wasn't enough bezoars and patience in the world for that.

Zach looked at the nurse taking care of the Hufflepuff girl. While he was listening to Alyssea, his eyes sometimes stole a glance at what she was doing. He somewhat felt the thrill. So this is how the nurse in the wizarding world works, Zach kept that in his thought. This year, his mind came back and forth on whether he should continue his dream to be a doctor or healer or anything medical. But after seeing this closely, he might want to continue it.

His glance stealing ended when the Hufflepuff girl said something "under the potion". "What did you say?" he tried to catch it. His ears might be wrong but the next thing he knew that his ears weren't wrong. The nurse asked her about the potion and its characteristics. "Oh goodness..." Zach could only whisper and widen his eyes in disbelief.

Zach also didn't know about this boy named Clark. He never had interaction with him if the duel wasn't counted. "He is in the same year as us. His teammate," Zach gave the obvious answer, just a repetition from the conversations before this. "Uh... I don't really know him," He said with an awkward posture, waiting for Alyssea to answer it well. That time was his realization that he might have to socialize more and know more people.

after the stage 2 duels

"I didn't know it had a potion!" Alyssea let out in a bit of a whine, pouting once she finished her sentence. It was just supposed to be juice, a welcoming gift to make her feel comfortable in his home like any good host would do. Her dad even accepted the coffee Clark's dad offered.

Ever since the event, Alyssea had sort of suppressed the memory of what it was. Based on First year potions and whatever they learned in Second year Potions, it didn't seem familiar to her at all. "It was mixed in juice, so I didn't even think about it having a potion since it looked normal. Tasted like normal grape juice, I think?"

Alyssea turned to Zach. "I don't... I barely remember. I just remember my head being filled with 'Clark' and then my dad got me out of there pretty fast." She nodded at Zach's description of Clark. She felt a bit bad for Axyen, now, having to deal with their messy relationship.

Was it alright to tell the nurse? It would, wouldn't it? Would be better, too. Alyssea wouldn't have known what the potion was unless her father recognised it then. "My dad said it was Amortentia."
