It's after Astronomy, breaking the monotony OPEN

Luna knew it was a bad decision, perhaps a very stupid decision, to go stay in the Astronomy tower after the class ended. But she couldnt help it, she liked the astronomy class...and she was bored, its just have been a few minutes since the class ended, but Luna was just bored, and bored Luna sometimes felt like doing stupid things like re-visiting the astronomy tower late at night when she wasn't supposed to be and it could very well be a reason for detention, but she honestly couldn't bring herself to care so much. So she went, just hoping no one will see her and care enough to give her a first detention ever here. She never had detention before, even though sometimes it was a close call, but even if it happened, it cant be so bad right?
"Whatever, it might not even happen!" She reassured herself in her head. What's wrong with some risk?

She wanted to see stars at night, and use the telescopes, when she was at the astronomy class they all looked so clear and more beautiful than she expected..so she wanted to explore more freely without somebody else's guidance or strict rules about what not to do.
However when she entered the tower she quickly found out she wasnt alone. There was a boy there. He was wearing a green scarf so he was obviously from slytherin. Luna wondered if Slys and Grys still sterotypically hated each other like the some old times(not that she did hate any slytherins...she didn't know any) Luna realized he was reading a book, while also singing a tune she didn't know. She unconsciously found herself walking closer the the boy. Noticing that he was reading a book about dragons. Interesting.

"Dragons...interesting"

Oops, she didnt mean to say it out loud!

Felix let out a somewhat strangled yelp. It was a bit of an embarrassing sound, but he chose to ignore it at the moment, in favour of paying attention to the girl who had just shown up.

Usually he paid more attention to his surroundings. No one could sneak up on him when he was actually listening, but today he was really into his reading, and also quite tired. Speaking of which, he lost his page in the book. That was gonna be a pain to re-find later. It wasn't that big of a book, but it was big enough.

This girl looked like a first year, same as him, and was wearing a red scarf, so she's probably from Gryffindor, or whatever they're called. Unless she just liked red, but that seemed less likely. Most people seemed to stick to their house colors when it came to any sort if clothing, including winter gear. House pride and allat.

"Yeah. Dragons are pretty good." he answered, a bit warily. She seemed to have shown up out of nowhere.
Felix thought he heard something, and looked up at the sky where you could see it through the glass, absentmindedly noting the north star and Orion's belt. He'd learned those in a Cub Scout meeting a year or two back. He hated it, at the time. Tried to get out of those lessons every chance he got, because he found the topic incredibly boring. Now he actually liked Astronomy class, in fact it was one of his favourites. Ironic, really.

After, he asked, "What are you doing here? It's after class. You should be in your dorm, shouldn't ya?" Felix didn't really want another kid up here. He hoped to discourage her by being a bit challenging. Maybe he'd be able to convince he her was older or something, bluff, and maybe get her to go away, so he could have this spot to himself.

Ambers felt a bit guily and also strangled a bit too as the boy let out a yelp in response to her unexpected words. Ouch, perhaps she shouldn't have acted like a creep walking slowly towards him..

The boy slowly agreed that dragons were cool to him too, which caused Luna to dumbly reply a quiet "Yeah.." She started to feel awkward and had a feeling that he really wanted to be alone there..too bad that Luna decided to be a trouble tonight. Then the dark brown haired boy looked at the sky and Luna looked up too to see what he could be seeing. There wasn't anything different. She didn't say anything.

"What're you doing here? It's after class. You should be in your dorm, shouldn't ya?"

The sudden and accusing quesiton caught Luna out of guard but she couldn't help but huffed and smirked at that. "That's rich, coming from you" She said. "You also don't look like someone who is allowed to be here at this hour"
And because she was feeling rebellish she sit down on the tower's floor too, lookin up at the sky again. "Why would you care if i got caught anyway?" She continued "You should worry about yourself mr.." she said as he turned back to face him, waiting for him to say his name, if he would.

“Hawthorne” he tipped his head slightly.
“And you?” he doesn’t really recognize her, but that doesn’t really mean much, not when there’s so many students around the castle, and (he’s confidently assuming) she’s not a Slytherin either.
It’s likely they just didn’t have any classes together (or, at least, not classes he was paying any attention during).

“And I am worrying about myself, in a way—worrying about having quiet to hang around up here. That’s what I was planning, at least” Felix shrugged. He might as well make the best of having another person up here. It could be fun, who knows?

Anyways, there’s was no harm in talking to her further. It’s not like she could get in in trouble, since she was breaking the exact same rules as he was, by being up here too.

But Felix still puffed his chest slightly, trying to seem a bit more important (trying to see if he could still get her to go away, so he could read in peace), and said “And who are you to assume that I don't have very express permission from the astronomy teacher to stay up here? It would be good to make certain of your facts before starting accusations, hmm? I certainly think that it would help you lots." it was the first thing he thought to say.

Probably not the best in terms of effectiveness, because hey, who would have that kind of permission, unless they were a Prefect or something, but at least it was something to say.
