Books! Dragon books?
Felix walks back into the store called 'Flourish and Blotts'. He had already gotten his schoolbooks earlier in the day with his dad, but now had returned with a few extra coins (apparently called 'sickles' and 'knuts') to look at the books for fun. This wizarding stuff is all so weird and fascinating, but in the end, he would always return to the most familiar and likable thing of all: books.
He ran his fingers along the spines of the books, keeping an eye out for anything of interest, whispering the more unusual titles to himself. Eventually, Felix's eyes landed on something that was definitely to his interest. "Dragon Species of Great Britain and Ireland". Dragons. Yep, he's getting this. Thirteen sickles and ten knuts. He's got that much, and he really, really wants this book. There are a few other books on dragons nearby, but they were out of his price range, and also, before getting a book on dragon breeding, he should probably get a book on the species, right. He tugged the book off the shelf and flipped through. Pretty soon, he's absorbed in the book.
Felix hears someone behind him and jumps a bit, startled out of his reading.

Books! Dragon books?
Felix goes to make a snarky retort but bites it back. "Just quiet down.". He looks a bit more at the girl. Her hair is long and black, and a scar crosses her left eye. Anyhow, he hates people who are noisy in bookstores and libraries. As much as Felix was sometimes clumsy, and walked into walls, trees, chairs, tables, shelves, cars, or anything near him, he at least paid attention to the people around him. He tucks the book under his arm and his hand in his pocket, glaring slightly at the girl. He usually didn't start arguments, but he was already frazzled and nervous today, this girl was pissing him off, and Felix really wanted to fight someone right now.
"What book ye looking at?" he nods towards where she had put back the book. If he gets in trouble, his dad will follow him around for the rest of the day, and he doesn't want that. Him getting in trouble starts his him not 'keeping a civil head' as his grandmum says it. Felix could try and start a decent conversation then. He hopes that the girl doesn't notice how high his voice is. He's passing as a guy right now, but this girl seems like one to be rude about it.
