Crushing Thoughts 
Looking for @Kiera RoselineReducioViva hurried through the library doors, looking for her best friend, Kiera. Something had just happened, and Viva immediately knew she had to talk to Kie about it. It was after class, and Viva knew Kie was likely to be doing homework somewhere. She had gone to the library first because it was closest, and she had already been heading that way when she had left History of Magic class.
She looked around the library, noticing that there were quite a few students in here working on things. Viva took a few steps and peered around a particularly large book shelf. Ah! There she is! It looked like Kie was sitting at a table all by herself, working on something. Viva purposely strode forward towards the table her friend was sitting at. "Kie!" She called. "I want to talk to you about something," she said as she plopped down in a seat next to her. Without even waiting to see if her friend responded, Viva launched into her story. "So... you know after History of Magic I stayed a little longer to clean up my stuff? This boy walked up to me and introduced himself to me as Nick Jackson. He was acting a little weird... and I was confused. He kept staring at me, and then guess what?" Viva gulped and looked at her friend. "He asked if we could meet later in the common room! Practically asking me on a date!" She slumped down in the seat. "Oh, Kie, what do I do?"

Mentions: @Genevieve Delacourt Date: 02/28/24 OOC Notes: Lorem Ipsem Self, Others, Thoughts I had been studying in the library for Transfiguration class. There was so much you needed to know, so many wand movements and strange pronunciations to strange words. You had to be sure you did everything right so that you didn’t accidentally turn your water bottle into a frog or your ink into slime. I was sitting by myself at a table, trying my best to focus, focus on nailing down everything, until I saw my best friend Genevieve, or Viva, running over to me.
Viva said tant she needed to tell me something, I immediately looked up from my work, putting all my attention on the crazed girl. I was about to say something to her to let her know to continue, but she didn’t even wait, just sprinting straight to it. Genevieve started going on about a boy, as I interlaced my fingers propping my elbows up on the table and resting my chin in my hands, smiling.
“Ooh wow! A boy asked the ‘great Genevieve Delacourt’ out on a date now has he” I peered. It sadly occurred to me that she came here on advice with the boy, not for me to bug her about it. “Well, do you like him?”

Talking about boys to @Kiera RoselineReducioViva started to get irritated by Kie's smile. I have a real problem, and she's just sitting there smiling?! She glared at her friend as Kie teased her. "Kie! This is serious!" Viva said, almost pleading. "Don't be silly." Peering around, she quieted her voice down, as several people were looking over at the two girls. "And what do you mean, 'great'?" Despite her better judgement, a smile began to form on her lips.
Shaking her head, she got back to the matter at hand. "Anyway, no! I don't like him! I really don't! But he obviously likes me!! Agh, why is this so horribly difficult?" Viva banged her head on the table, feeling quite overwhelmed. "I don't want to go meet him or whatever, but I said yes because he was practically forcing me!" Viva's head shot up. "How awful is that? And he just kept staring at me creepily! Oh, Kie, what in the world am I going to do?" Honestly, this is a problem. I don't want to encourage him, but would hate hurting his feelings... Viva stretched her arms, then looked over at Kie, waiting for some awesome advice or even just some good plain sympathy.

Mentions: @Genevieve Delacourt Date: 02/28/24 OOC Notes: Lorem Ipsem Self, Others, Thoughts I forced my smirk to fade, turning more serious for my friend. “Okay okay sorry!” I held in my chuckle “do you see him before the ‘date’ today?” If she didn’t want to go then she wouldn’t go. I could make up an excuse, I could go to Nick and tell me something if I needed to. I just didn’t want Vivs doing something that she didn’t want to do.
“If you want maybe you can find him and just simply tell him that that’s not what you want. And I know it’s not that simple but maybe you could even make sure that you two are just hanging out as friends so that he doesn’t get ahead of himself” I suggested with sympathy in my eyes.
What would I do if that happened to me? I didn’t really like anyone that much yet, so I’m really not sure. You know, this is really hard to do when you’ve never been in love, or had someone have a crush on you. I’ll just go up to Nick and tell him Vivs got sick or something. No that’s a bad idea, what is karma comes and she actually does? Ugh this might be harder than I had thought…

Crushing Thoughts
Feeling generally miserable and talking with @Kiera RoselineReducioViva bit her lip. "Um, I don't think so," she said. She listened to her friend's next idea. "Oh, I don't know," she said, leaning her head on the table. "I would just feel so terrible!" She rolled over to look at Kie, eyes pitiful. "I'm such a stupid Hufflepuff, caring about everyone's feelings all the time," she muttered. Viva really did appreciate Kie's sympathy. It was nice to know she had someone she could always come to with these kind of things.
"Maybe I should just go? And hopefully he won't take it any farther? Maybe it'll just be a fleeting crush and he'll be over it in a few days." Viva knew she was being very optimistic with this hope, but she needed to pretend that it would be over soon for her own sanity.
She sat up slowly, looking at Kie again. "This whole thing is just hard," she said tiredly. "Between school stuff, and everything else going on, and now this?" Viva shook her head. "Good thing I have you to keep my head on straight, Kie, or else I would probably fall to pieces." She managed a weak chuckle, but deep down she honestly sometimes felt that way.
