Anything But That.. PV Remedy Norden Closed

Meluna felt she'd be late to class if she didn't hurry. All throughout class seemed to drag but more often than not she was distracted with today's lesson on the Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Many times she would raise her hand to clarify what the professor meant about the history of the Dark Arts. Meluna hadn't exactly hurt anyone physically before so she was grasping the idea that spells in a classroom setting could really hurt someone.

She had heard about duels at school. She should be more prepared for this but she was terrified. She wanted to leave but she didn't know what would happen if she even tried to skip class. Meluna learned vest with books. She made a note to read her text book after class today. She also wanted to learn more defensive spells than offense. She sighed, stressing over the minimal notes on the paper in front of her. Quills were a lot different than number 2 pencils. Someone from her dorm had been kind to let her practice her handwriting with a quill they kept but it didn't help much. So much for trying to be at something for once.

When class ended, Meluna gathered her books and left the classroom with a heavy sigh. In all her stress of learning todays lesson, it hadn't crossed her mind yet that she'd dropped a letter to her mother. A letter about telling her mother that Meluna was her own person. When she did notice, Meluna panicked and turned to retrace her steps, she had one thing to fear and that was her mother religious views. She didn't think others shared the same ideals. Meluna respected her mother, but she didn't feel right to be pressured into her mother's strong demands.
