Finished Goodbyes and tears

It was finally the big day. September 1, 2023. A day, Violet had waited for, all her life. She has been excited, ever since she got her letter from Hogwarts. But now as she was standing here at platform nine and three quarters, she couldn't help but feel dreadful. She was not going to be back till Christmas. She could feel her parents' mood dampening as well. Unexpectedly, her father, Caspian Rohr, the one known for his cold and unemotional facade, was actually more affected than her mother. Her mother, Aaliyah bent down and hugged her, saying "Oh dear, look at you all grown up. Time passed so quickly, Violet. Be responsible and don't get into trouble. I'll miss you so much, my baby." Hearing her mother, Violet let out a sob she no longer could control. She whined quitely, "मुझे नहीं जाना ¹, mumma." Aaliyah Rohr was feeling emotional too, she really didn't want to seperate herself from her baby, but it was for her own good, her education mattered a lot. She replied, "जाना तो पड़ेगा, बेटा ।² But don't you worry, I'm sure you will make a lot of friends like me and your father did and I'm sure you will have fun and learn so much and be back with us in no time. It's for your own good, dearest. Don't you dream of working like us? This will be a step to achieve your goals. At her mother's explanation, Violet nodded her head understanding the importance but still feeling emotional. Her dad, who was standing looking at the mother-daughter duo feeling emotional, then bent down next to her, engulfing her in a hug and said, "Vi, your mother is right. Make us proud in Hogwarts and carry forward our legacy. You are an absolutely brilliant child, Vi. Oh, I'll miss you so much. We will be waiting for you to return on Christmas. We will decorate the tree together, alright?"At this, Violet again nodded her head in agreement still feeling a little dull.
At this her father tickled her to make her laugh. "You are supposed to go smiling not sulking. I'll tickle more if you sulk more. There's so much good ahead of you, don't cry." Violet couldn't help but laugh out loud as her father tickled her. This definitely lifted her spirits.

It was the time, for the train to leave. She climbed the train, looking back at her parents for the last time, waving her hand, saying a goodbye. She shouted aloud, so her parents' could hear her, "I'll miss you, mom and dad. But I'll be back soon." A tear made its way down her face, but she quickly turned around wiping it with her sleeve, walking inside the train, finding an empty cabin and taking a seat in there.
