Girl, I Hate your Taste Closed

The Hogwarts library was a bit hit-or-miss. On the one hand, the murder mysteries and thrillers were fascinating. On the other hand... there were the Tales of Beedle the Bard, and other absolutely stupid fairy tales. But, alas, not today. Kit was, even to her own surprise, looking for a transfiguration book. She would never require one, not for the current material she was studying as a first year. Combined with her metamorphmagus talent, it seemed like a piece of cake. Hmm, note to self: eat some for dessert tonight. No matter, she was studying the second year curriculum anyways. She was studying the third unit: model change, which involved the hair-changing charm, something Kit could already do well enough without a spell.

Kit's eyes slid to the Transfiguration section as she noticed a girl reading, curled up on a red armchair. Kit could've sworn she had seen her before. In class, perhaps? She was a Ravenclaw, so Kit thought she would probably read some interesting books. Kit was starting to get a little bored after finishing her Agatha Christie set. Then Kit couldn't contain a sneer as she realised what she was actually reading. Judging by the cover, it was fantasy. Fantasy, really? When they were literally living in a world of magic? Even if Kit never learnt about magic, she would never pick up a fantasy book. Those either involved ridiculous age differences or hilarious dragon fights.

Kit pursed her lip and walked over, determined to confront this ignorant Ravenclaw about her tastes. 'Girl, I have no idea who you are - ' well that was lie, technically Kit knew they were at least in one same class - 'But I hate your taste in literiture,' Kit said, without batting an eye. She sat down smugly on the armrest, a smirk tugging at her lips.
