Dear Mom and Dad
Dear Mom and Dad,
Hi Mom and Dad. I miss you guys so much. Hogwarts is great, but sometimes I wish I went to Durmstrang with my siblings so I could have them to support me and be my friends. It is only the first week though. I know I'll make friends soon enough. I miss Marty the cat. I miss how he would curl up with me in my bed and we would sleep together. I miss my own bed. The Badger Bungalow is great, but it's just not home. Maybe one day it will be though.
Classes have been OK. There is so much homework though. Even on the first week! My favorite class so far is definitely Charms. I love learning spells and using my new wand. Mr. Ollivander was right. My wand is PERFECT for me.
I was a little confused on how things work here at Hogwarts, so I applied for a mentor. Her name is Ava and she has been very very helpful so far. I think everyone here is very nice, but I just need to put myself out there more to make friends. I know it will get better. It's only the fourth day after all.
Ok, I should probably get going now. Classes start soon and I haven't even had breakfast!
