Thoughts: italicsKaitlyn slowly walked through the corridors of Hogwarts. She was normally in such a rush to get to class, visit the library, head to eat or meet up with a friend. She rarely had time to just walk around the castle and admire its beauty. Luckily for her, she finished her schoolwork early, and she didn’t have a lot of notes to revise. So, she had an afternoon to herself. She was going to enjoy it.
As she walked, Katie stopped at a magnificently-sized window. It had a ledge the perfect size to sit on. And it gave a perfect view of the Black Lake. She peered outside and gasped, marveling at how nice the lake looked. Its surface partially obscured by pieces of ice. And the way the sun hit it. She giggled, glad that she had brought her sketching supplies with her in her bag.
With a bright smile, Kaitlyn sat down on the ledge, taking out her sketchpad and a pencil. She sat cross-legged, fixing her skirt in the process. She faced the window, peering at the lake below. With a happy sigh, she started to slowly sketch the lake, the smattering of trees around it, and the snow-covered grounds. As she began, she started to slowly pay less and less attention to what was going on around her, instead, focusing all of her energy on her drawing. Sketching and Introductions
As the silence filled the halls/corridors.. A short girl with black robes, black shoes, blue sleepy eyes and long black hair (which was also covering her face a little) walked slowly through the corridor when she noticed an other girl sitting by the window..she looked curious si decided to slowly approach..
Emma walked beside her and smiled shyly and in a nervous tone she said..
”Hello..”
Emma smiled a little then spoke again and sat slowly beside her while holding her brown book on her laps.
”I hope i didnt startled you.. I can see you are drawing alone.. may i ask what you’re drawing?”
Emma spoke in a quiet soft and shy voice..
Oh god i hope I dont scare her or anything.. Hopefully my approach was not weird..
She thought.. Looking slightly at the floor.
Emma looked at them and tried to act calm but she couldnt help but feel slightly nervous and anxious about this..
She kept a hand on her lap and the book she was carrying around which had its cover made of brown pelt with vintage pages and a small brown ribbon that kept it closed.
She waited for their answer and hoped she wasnt to forward or sudden with her appearance.
Emma walked beside her and smiled shyly and in a nervous tone she said..
”Hello..”
Emma smiled a little then spoke again and sat slowly beside her while holding her brown book on her laps.

Thoughts: italicsKaitlyn was so engrossed with her drawing, that she was unaware that someone had come up to her. When the girl greeted her, Katie briefly jumped, and looked at the girl. She flushed lightly. “Hi,” she responded back, shyly. She instinctively played with her ponytail, slightly uncomfortable. She noticed the girl sat down next to her, but didn’t say anything. She also took notice of how shy and quiet this other girl seemed to be. A commonality between them.
“Um … yes, unfortunately,” Kaitlyn confirmed, with a sigh. “It’s not your fault, though. I get startled way too easily,” she added, with a shrug. She pointed out the window, at the lake below them. “I was drawing the lake. I like how the ice looks on it, and I wanted to draw it to put in my collection of places around Hogwarts … And, I didn’t really want to go outside in the cold just to do it,” she continued, shyly. She turned her drawing, so the girl could see it better. “It’s nowhere near done, but this is what I have so far.”
Kaitlyn let a few beats of silence fall between them. She hoped this girl wasn’t turned off by her awkwardness. “Um. I’m Kaitlyn, or Katie, Connor,” she introduced herself with a shy smile.ReducioWord Count: 217
