Time on the Express
Out of sheer boredom, I flipped open my trunk and dumped its contents onto the table in front of me. There are several classes I have overheard other students talk about, and I find myself intrigued by some of them. Astronomy, Potions, flying, and Defence Against the Dark Arts. Everything seemed so new, so awesome, so cool to me.
I brought out all the books that contained information on these topics and began to read them, discovering quite quickly that Astronomy might be my favourite class. All the interesting information it contains!
Lunchtime rolled by whilest I was devouring Magical Drafts and Potions. I bought one cauldron cake and two chocolate frogs, but seldom touched them until nearly 5 o'clock. I worked my way through the cake, savouring the deliciousness that nearly never touched my tongue. I then ripped open my chocolate frogs, delighted to find one of the cards within held a very famous wizard.
I am well aware that I never took my eyes off of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as I ate, but that doesn't matter now. My mother wasn't here to tell me off, so I might as well lick my fingers in a final act of rebellion against her terribly strict house rules. After that, I guess just staring at whatever's outside, and drink in the night sky.
Can't miss going to school, can I?
Death is never expected, fate is cruel, but God is equal. How could we forget, that life is a blessing and charge for our sins, at once? | Oh, hatred runs in the bones. It doesn't in blood. That pulses. Changes. | You are alive, if only you bleed.
