A New Friend

Xyle had all the stuff he needed, but there was always one thing he wanted...a loyal companion. He had decided what his companion would be, a owl. He entered Magical Menagerie, clutching a few galleons, and started looking for the coolest owl he could find. After a bit of searching, he just couldn't find an owl that was cool enough from him. But suddenly, a boy burst into the room, and Xyle knew exactly who he was : Wes. He was Xyle's rival through kindergarden, primary school and now Hogwarts?!?! But he had his mum with him so Xyle couldn't harm him in any way. Wes was a very selfish boy, and quite stupid. The noise he made had startled all the owls already, but then he wanted to do something even more stupid. He wanted to open all the cages so he could examine them better! He thought that since they were all trained, they wouldn't attack him. But some owls get real bad tempered if you startle them so when he opened the cages, a screech owl flew out of the blue and started attacking him.
Some owls followed the morepork owl and started attacking Wes, too. Thunderstruck by this leadership, Xyle took the owl and named it Ajax. Ajax has a pair amber eyes, small horns and had creamy brown and white feathers. Wes bought a tawny owl and named it Dash. Dash has a pair of emerald green eyes and a pattern of deep dark brown and white polka dots and stripes. Xyle bought some items for Ajax too.
Ajax was a great companion. He would bring post for him, help him fight off those annoying moths that keep chewing on his shirts, pants and robes and he was so quick, he could race with a Nimbus Two Thousand and the Nimbus would win in a very very very very very very very insanely insanely insanely close photo finish.(Okay, I may have exaggerated that.) Xyle would feed him bugs and occasionally bacon rinds and give him the best water there was. Ajax once saved Xyle's life too. He encountered a big dog with rabies that had somehow broke it's leash. It jumped at Xyle, but then Ajax cmae swooping in, and wouldn't you know it dog was scared of birds. The dog ran away and sage to say, Ajax got a load more treats that day. (The word count is four hundred and thirty three words.) I wish to purchase a morepork owl, I want to name it Ajax, it is a boy, its date of birth is 2016/11/5.
