Broom Riding 101

Its a new year, which means a new me. So I decided to sign up for a unofficial quidditch match and to sign up to the racers academy. These were both very new sports to me and both involved a broom. I recently just got a Comet 260 for Christmas but I have never ridden a broom before in my whole life. I needed someone to teach me how to ride a broom. So I went to the only person that might help. Well, there were two students that might help me but I'm still a bit scared around that Dhampir. He was this guy, that I met after the sorting ceremony. His name's Maverick Castle and he's an arse. If I wasn't that desperate then I would never ever ask for his help. However I can't deny that he's a really freaking good with a broom as he is a broom racer.
I expected him to be in the Quidditch Pitch practicing and it's no surprise I found him zooming around on his broom. By just by looking at him you think he's Mr Perfect. He's not. Once you start getting to know him, you find out he's a narcissistic jerk.
