Drawing Over Lunch
Minnie stretched and started to walk to the courtyard. It was a beautiful day, and many people were out and about, enjoying the weather. She walked over to the old oak tree, and sat down. She breathed in the comforting scents of leaf and bark.
This is so much better than potions! I love being outdoors. Minnie thought. "So....what sort of drawing do you want to do? We could just draw. Or we could play a game. Or really anything you want." She smiled. "I really have no preference." She told Emma.
She took out her notebook with Unfortunately Luck. "I could show you some drawings?" She opened up the book to an empty page and started drawing. "Here, I'll draw you my main character, Luck, and her dragon, Cinder. Or...Cinder could be breathing fire? He does that a lot? Sorry. I'm brainstorming out loud." She said. Minnie started to draw. She felt in the zone and was surprised when it turned out to be good. At least my art decided to be good today. Now she won't think I'm a bad artist. She finished her drawing and took out her coloring tools. "How about after I finish, you show me a drawing? You don't have to, but it might be fun."

Drawing Over Lunch
Hi!! im very sorry for this late response,i was very busy these weeks with school.
Emma smiled softly and nodded at her comment.. she slowly sat down next to Minnie and also took her notebook out.
Emma looked at Minnie’s notebook. ”Wow! Those drawings are so.. beautiful!!” she said in a happy and quiet tone..
Emma slowly opened her notebook.. Some of.. The drawings were of various plants and creatures along with sketches and even what she thought the inside of the creatures looked alike.. Her cheeks turned slightly pink as she looked away a little in embarrasment.
”M-My drawings are pretty bad..A-And silly..” She said,brushing her fingers along the notebook pages delicately,trying to hide some of the drawings as she sighed softly..She gently watched Minnie do her drawing as she smiled a little bit
”You really know how to draw! So your character has a dragon that can spit out fire from its mouth? That is very interesting!!”
She spoke softly with her shyly high-pitch voice like.. She place her notebook to the side and gently watched Minnie draw, Feeling relaxed and more calm than before..
”S-so...What do you think about..Potion classes? Do you find them interesting? Sorry if its a personal question..” She said with a small smile, Feeling bit curious.

Drawing Over Lunch
"Oh, I don't mind at all! I honestly think that it's pretty fun! It's a bit like baking, only you use a cauldron instead of a baking board. And it's fun to make ingredients a powerful potion! The cure for boils potion might come in handy some day, you never know!" Minnie smiled at the thought of that. She enjoyed talking with Emma. Then she remembered what they were here for.
"Jelly slugs! I forgot my lunch. Oh well, at least I have company." She sighed and looked at Emma. "And thank you so much for the compliment! I just had a good drawing day is all. Usually it doesn't end up half as well." She smiled wryly. "I used to take lessons when I was younger and my instructor told me my duck looked like a dead ferret." She laughed a little. "I think that was when I stopped taking lessons. But anyways, I'm sure you're a great artist!" Minnie looked up at the sky and ran her fingers down the trunk of the tree she was leaning against.
Nature is so pretty! I find it fascinating. I hope Emma doesn't think it's weird. She sighed. "Do you think nature is pretty?"

Drawing Over Lunch
Emma smiled softly.. When she heard that Minnie forgotten her lunch quickly reminded her that she had an extra sandwich with her.. She slowly reached into her brown bag and took out two sandwiches.
”Here you go! You can have this, I always carry two with me just in case.” She said with a small giggle, placing the two sandwiches on the ground next to them gently on a tissue and also took out an termos that had some warm tea inside. Emma gently placed it on the ground and also the small cup that came with the termos.
She smiled bit. ”Oh.. And.. If that instructor said that, he should take it back! i love your drawings!” She said cheerfully..
Her ears slightly twitched when she heard the nature comment
”Nature..? ohh.. Of course!” She nodded and smiled. ”I think nature is very beautiful and.. Fascinating-” She paused bit, her cheeks tuning slightly red in embarrasment again..

Minnie took a look at Emma's journal, but didn't ask to see it. She smiled at Emma, hoping to see her drawings. "Thanks for the sandwich." She took it and ate a bite. "And thanks for the compliment! I'd love to see your drawings!" She started to see similarities in their likes. She could tell they would be good friends.
I'm so glad I sat with Emma, she's a great friend! Minnie started drawing to draw again, but this time, it was her. She drew the tree they were sitting at, sketching it and the scene going on. She drew Emma's face, smiling at the way she made her smile. She felt herself get in the zone again, leaving the world behind as she drew. She surprised herself by finishing. Minnie looked at it, and glanced at Emma.
"I-I made a drawing of us together, do you like it?" She showed the drawing to her. Minnie nervously waited for her response, staring at the plants. "I know it's stereotypical Hufflepuff, but I like plants a lot. Like, I find them really fascinating. So I would love to see your drawings." She added. "Erm...could you show them to me?"
