Finished To Hogwarts

After a long week of waiting, the day has finally come. I stand inside King's Cross Station, gazing at everything within. The sight seemed to rouse my mind, and even though my face doesn't show it, I am bursting with excitement. Muggles were hurrying everywhere, their immense numbers flooding the entire station. Wizards and witches, guiding their children, were scattered here and there. I saw not a single familiar face among the thousands, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest. The roar of voices in the crowds automatically sent my hands to my ears, and I held this position while waving one final goodbye (with an elbow) to my father.

I grabbed a trolley and organised all of my belongings inside: a battered trunk (for my school supplies) and a dark crimson bag (for all the other things I've decided to take). Then I wheeled it to face the doorway to Platform 9 3/4 --- a solid wall.

I ran at the speed of my "record-breaking 50-meter dash", pushing my trolley in front of me, into the wall. In an instant, I was transported to the other side. I suddenly thought about my frequent dreams about flying in the air, and discovered the sensation of running into Platform 9 3/4 to be very similar. I took in all the sights that materialized after my break-through. It was mostly witches and wizards wishing their children goodbyes, and I saw one of them hugging her offspring so hard he fell out of the window of the Hogwarts Express.

A quick glance at the clock told me it was almost time. I paced up and down the platform, selecting the perfect place to sit. So many factors to consider. At last, I chose a compartment at the very back, devoid of any residence. I sat next to the window.

I'm a tech-whiz, in the Muggle realm. I also liked to think. I pulled out a sheet of paper and a pencil, and began to attempt an unravel of the inner workings of the Hogwarts Express.

Soon, the train will start moving, I thought to myself. I hope no-one else sits with me, that would be unbearable. But who knows, maybe having a friend in Hogwarts might not be such a bad decision. After all, you never know what mischief might you get into first.

I smiled. I always address myself in second-person.

Death is never expected, fate is cruel, but God is equal. How could we forget, that life is a blessing and charge for our sins, at once? | Oh, hatred runs in the bones. It doesn't in blood. That pulses. Changes. | You are alive, if only you bleed.
