Today was the day, the big day Eleanor has been waiting for what feels like forever. Today she turned 11 years old and she would finally receive her Hogwarts-letter.
Exited the young brown-haired girl runs down the stairs of the house she and her parents live in. It’s a nice house in central London, not far from Hyde Park, and although there are a few other magical families living nearby they are mostly surrounded by muggles. As a child Eleanor often played with the neighboring muggle children when the magical ones didn’t have time.
But enough of the past then now is time to talk about her big day. Arriving in the living room the girl is greeted by her father who is already sitting at the breakfast table. Henry Price is a slender man with short, dark brown hair who works as a healer in St.Mungos Hospital. Next to him Eleanors old brother Niel is drinking his morning tea and flipping through the prophet. Neil is nine years older than Eleanor and graduated just this past summer.
“Has it arrived yet? It must have, right?” Just as the question left Eleanors mouth her mother walks in with the item in question in hand. “Yes it has.” Gwen, her mother, smiles as she hands over the Hogwars-letter. She is a tall woman with light brown hair and a kind smile. She currently works at the Ministry in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures..
