Wren as usual was being dragged somewhere against her will and she was not happy about especially because the people dragging her there were the Mornsterns and they were not happy with her because she had put up quite a fight about leaving the house. She had been placed in their care a couple months ago and they had insisted that she needed supplies for Hogwarts over the holiday. So she is currently walking behind them grumbling and shivering because god forbid they wait for the weather to warm up. She watched as the Mornsterns walked in and out of stores. Occasionally she would follow them in one just to warm up. That's when she noticed that Lucian the oldest of the Mornsterns had strayed from the group, she decided to follow him because she was bored. She kept a safe distance between them as she followed him through the snow. Lucian entered a shop and she waited a few seconds before entering the store herself.

As she stepped into the shop, she was hit with the smell of animals. The smell wasn't unpleasant but you could definitely tell that animals lived here. She hid behind some cages so she could watch what Lucian was doing. He seemed to be buying a jar of leaves, probably for that dreaded lizard. She remembered him yelling at her one time for almost stepping on it. She rolled her eyes at the memory, it's not like you could expect anything less from a Slytherin. Lucian began moving towards the door again so she inched around to the other side of the cages so he couldn't see her. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw him exit the store and the door shut behind him. "How can I help you dearie?" A nice looking older woman smiled from behind the counter. "Oh, I was just...oww" she started before feeling a sharp tug on her head. She whipped her head around to see what had pulled on her hair. "Ahh, seems that you have discovered our new batch of kittens" The woman laughed. Wren stared into the cage unsure what to do in this situation. "You're welcome to hold one of them if you would like" the lady said from behind her. Wren opened the latch of the cage and pulled out one of the kittens. It was love at first sight as the Kitten curled up in her lap and fell asleep. She didn't need know how to react to this "um...umm" she stuttered. "Looks like they like you" the woman said. Wren looked down at the kitten and pet it softly. "I'm gonna name you Frosted Flakes" she giggled and set the 15 galleons down on the table to pay for the cat.
