I walked into Flourish and Blotts for the first time about two weeks before the term started. Because I'm a muggle- born it was my very first time in the wizarding world. I knew Flourish and Blotts was the book store because some nice old lady pointed it out for me when I asked her where it was and what they sold. Obviously because my parents are both muggles they wouldn't know.

Anyhow, I walked into Flourish and Blotts and it was like going back in time to when I had visited the muggle library in my old neighborhood for the first time. The walls were covered by bookshelves, all of which were stocked full of brand new book. I knew books in the muggle world weren't cheep so I figured it wouldn't be much different in the wizarding world.

It took forever for me to find one book so I could only imagine how long it would take me in total. After getting lost about fifteen (15) times, I finally did find all the books I needed. The next problem was to find the cashier. There were so many people that I kept getting pushed back toward the door.

After I did that I some how got out of the store again. Don't ask me how, but I did.

"Well... time to go get my wand," I said.
