Bellus walked into the bar. She was tired from the long journey, from Hogwarts all the way to the London’s muggle bar. However, her excitement had not been extinguished a single bit. She looked at the menu and all the drinks she could order. Hot chocolate, juice, coffee, tea and other drinks she had never heard of. There were snacks and treats as well, cupcakes, tarts, burgers, cakes. She saw a few treats that could never be spotted in the wizarding world. Her mouth watered. Her pockets were clinking and jingling, as if waiting to be spent.

Bellus snapped back from her thoughts as she felt many people’s gaze on her. She followed their gaze. Her robes. She hastily covered the Gryffindor banner etched onto her robes. What if they had found out that she was a Hogwarts student? The muggles mustn’t notice. Bellus would be expelled.

Bellus quickly shuffled towards the Lavatory and pulled Regina in. (OCC: With permission from Regina Spindlewheel that I can god mod her for this specific action. ) Bellus took off her robes. It was quite comforting to take it off, as the fire in the bar seemed to fill every corner and she was starting to feel hot. She stuffed the black bundle, which was the untidy scramble of her robes.

“Let’s get our wallets a bit lighter, shall we?” she said, her excitement starting to flow from the tip of her toes to the very top of her head. She had earned some muggle money from her muggle grandmother.

“Hmm.. what should I get? They all seem scrumptious!”

Regina was panting slightly as she arrived at the Leaky Cauldron, being low on stamina, she couldn’t help but stare at the appetizing snacks and inviting drinks printed onto the menu. Tea was one of her favorite beverages among all the options. Why does she love tea so much? No one ever knows.

The younger girl had already had her robes taken off before she entered from the door, despite her being prepared for literally almost everything. She knew that her school robes are too eye-catching, especially for the vibrant shade of blue. She had taken off for good measure, another “Regina’s safety measurement” of the day.

Regina took a step away when a hand reached out to her, turns out it was only her sister’s hand. She allowed her to drag her along the way, despite not being as fast as her sport-loving sister. Without the robes, she was wearing the Ravenclaw sweater, with her uniform underneath it. Unlike Bellus, she was a bit cold.

“Mama and daddy wouldn’t like that. They clearly stated not to spend money on inessential matters,” said Regina with her brows furrowed. You can never expect anything interesting with girls who had strict parents. It was either a no to this, or a no to that. Regina was provided with plenty of galleons, however she was far too penny-wise to spend it on entertainment, and would rather save her coins for “future purposes”.

“Besides, we are already in enough trouble as we are. My opinion is to just walk around and relax for a minute or two, then head straight back. It had been a hour or more since we left the castles.”

“Oh, for Merlins beard!” Bellus exclaimed, not intending her voice to be that high.

Bellus glanced at her younger sister as she reprimanded her about trying to spend money on the delicious looking treats. Was she telling her not to spend money on anything in the bar, when she had just spent half a day getting here? What was the long trip worth, if they didn’t do anything at the end of the trip? Bellus sometimes didn’t understand how her sister couldn’t be more flexible with following rules. She didn’t really like it when her sister was reminding her about rules, rules and rules.

Yes, Regina could be right of course, they had better hurry up. But, perhaps they can at least take a break?

“What’s the point of coming here, tiring me out of my wits when I can’t even spend a single knut? I mean, in this case, muggle money.”

Bellus was already tired about the long journey and she wanted to get a cup of hot chocolate, a snack, and a nice long break. And she wanted it as quick as possible. She didn’t care about how Regina was warning her about the amount of money they could spend. It was Bellus’s own money after all. Other people couldn’t tell her what she wanted to do with it. She liked mischief and she was going to spend her savings for it.

Bellus ignored her sister’s disapproving look and headed over to the counter.
