Free Writing Club Writing Thread

Skylar Evens is excited about this summer. She and her friends are going on a trip to an island they have been planning for quite a while now. Skylar packed all the things she'll need for the trip to the island excitedly. After she was all done packing, she closed her suitcase and got ready for bed.
"It's always a great idea to pack your things the night before!" Skylar said happily to no one since she was alone.
Once she was all done getting ready for bed, she decided to have a late-night snack, so she went down to the kitchen to pick something out to eat. Once she got her snack, she went into the living room and watched a show which is already playing. Once she was all done with her snack, she went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth, then went into her room and fell asleep after getting into her bed.
The next morning Skylar awoke at 6 am and did her morning routine. After she was all dressed and everything, she went into her kitchen and made herself some breakfast. After she was all done making herself some waffles she sat down at the table and began to eat her breakfast. After she washed the plates and went upstairs.
She came back down with her suitcase and her carry-on bag rolling it to the living room. Skylar put her shoes on and left her house after locking the door.
Skylar got into her car and drove to the airport since she'll be meeting her friends there. Once she got to the airport she parked her car and took out her suitcase and carry-on then proceeded into the airport and headed over to the waiting area after getting into the airport.
Once she got to the waiting area she looked for her friends but she didn't see them yet. Skylar knows that she's going to see them either on the flight or before they board the flight, but she also knows that she'll be able to see them after the flight as well.
Skylar took a seat and was even more excited than she was the night before and before she even came to the airport. You can say that Skylar has been looking forward to this trip for a long time now, maybe a little too long.
