A new friend to bring home pet solo

On Tracey's 11th birthday, her parents decided to take her to Diagon Alley so should could buy herself a pet before she went off to Hogwarts for her very first year. However, the day before they had chosen to go to Diagon Alley, Tracey had received her letter from Hogwarts and excitedly showed it to her parents. They all agreed to get Tracey a pet after she had gotten all of the school supplies on the list that she had gotten from her acceptance letter.

Once they were ready to go and shop in Diagon Alley, the three of them left the house and Tracey's father drove them to the Leaky Cauldron. Tracey followed her parents inside of the Leaky Cauldron and looked around. She wasn't sure why they were at the Leaky Cauldron, but when she saw her parents starting to disappear, she ran over to them and saw a brick wall.

"What's this?" Tracey asks.
"This, my darling, is the entrance to Diagon Alley without the Floo Network," Nancy Bailey says.
"Cool, but how do we get in?" Tracey asks.
"There's a unique pattern that I'll show you. Watch carefully, ok?" Nancy says.
"Ok," Tracey says nodding her head.

Tracey watch her mother tap the brick way with her wand in the special pattern. She tried her best to memorize it, but she was too excited to see Diagon Alley for the first time, so she wasn't focusing properly. When the brick wall had opened up to reveal the alley, Tracey looked at it in shock. Her parents walked into the alley and she followed them.

While walking around Diagon Alley to go get her school supplies, Tracey couldn't help but look around at all the shops. Once she had bought all of her supplies, the first shop she went to go check out was Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. She was amazed with all the pranking objects around her and loved the shop. After looking around, she left the shop and went to Quality Quidditch Supplies to look at all the brooms, and was having a hard time trying to pick the broom she wanted. After a while of not being able to pick a broom, she decided to left the shop.

The very last shop Tracey went to was Magical Menagerie, the shop where she'd be able to get her very own pet. She looked at all the owls outside of the shop, and didn't like any of them. She then entered the shop and looked around at all the pets, but wasn't sure what type of pet she wanted, until she saw some cats. She walked over to the cats and looked at each and everyone of them and had a hard time choosing, until a cat had caught her eye. She walked over to the cats cage and noticed that it was a Red Classic Tabby.

"Mom, mom, can I get him?" Tracey asks.
"Of course you can, honey," Nancy says.

Tracey smiles and her father picks up the cat cage containing the red classic tabby inside over to the front of the store where the cashier was. While her father paid for the cat, Tracey began thinking of names, but couldn't think of any at the moment. When her father had finished paying for the cat, Tracey finally thought of a name for her new friend.

"I'll name him Tiger," Tracey says.
"That sounds like a perfect name for him, dear. Take good care of him, ok," The lady says.
"Ok," Tracey says nodding.

Her father takes the cage and the three of them leave the shop. Tracey was happy that she has a pet that she can bring to Hogwarts with her so she won't be lonely if she doesn't make any friends straight away.
