A Beautiful Day Closed

Sylvee had heard all about and read all about Quidditch in much of her spare time since arriving at Hogwarts. However, this was the first time she'd actually gotten to see the pitch. It really was grand. The massive expanse of field stretched wide and made Sylvee feel tiny. She could almost envision little players zooming about through the air just like in the moving pictures. She was a bit disappointed that nobody was out practicing, as she would have really liked to watch them.

It seemed to be the perfect weather for flying, too. It was just a little bit chilly and there was no wind. The sun was shining bright and the birds were chirping merrily into the morning air. Overall, it was a quiet serene place. She knew that would change, however, when the players would come. Then the crowds. This peaceful, quiet setting could turn into a roaring arena in the blink of an eye. Sitting in the high seats of the arena, Sylvee got out some of her work to study. It was a wonder that nobody else came up here during their spare time. The weather around these parts wasn't ideal often, however this was one of the nice days. You could see all of Hogwarts from up here. Though nobody seemed to appreciate that, always too busy with the hustle and bustle of their everyday school life. An eagle screeched in the distance. It was a beautiful day.
