Bring Your Kid To work Day
Oh what a splendid idea.
What a horribly, frighteningly splendid idea.
Elia gripped her fathers hand as they walked through the large packed Atrium of the Ministry of Magic. Her parents had thought it wise and exciting to send Elia onwards with her father to his job to experience it.
It was not a good idea.
Summer had just started for the young girl, and she was taking a break from Hogwats School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The first thing to greet her when she got home, was the announcement that she would be attending work with her father for a day.
Anyone who knows Elia is well aware of her stutter and timidity. The thought of getting lost in this place was astonishingly terrifying for her.
It wasn’t to long before she felt that she was not holding her fathers hand and frantically looked around. When she didn’t see him, she called out meekly.
The room was spinning and the crowd was bustling. She ran to the water fountain and sat with her head in her hands trying to calm down. He water was somewhat soothing and it helped her but she was still lost.
Her father worked in the department of something. But she couldn’t put her finger on it in her hysterics.
Sadly she watched the people hustle and bustle throughout the atrium while she curled in a ball and waited for something to happen.

Bring Your Kid To work Day
Morning, August 15, 2018
When her father said that Marian wasn't allowed to take your kid to work day, Marian started planning. If her father had let her come, it would have been the most boring thing in the world. But this- this was an oppourtunity. An oppourtunity to show that she was brave.
Marian planned to tell her father that she at least wanted to see him go, so she would follow him to the fireplace. once he had used the floo powder, she would take a pinch herself. It all went according to plan until she lost her father. Not a big setback, she was planning to ditch him anyway.
Marian waked through the atrium, soaking it all in. All of a sudden, she tripped on something. She looked down and saw a girl curled up in a ball. The girl semmed to not notice. Maybe she was asleep.
Marian looked into every nook and cranny, looking for some trace of magic. Even though she had preformed a couple spells already, magic still amazed her. while dragging her hands on the brick wall, she found a brick that flinched when she poked it. She was playing with that for a while until the girl popped back into Marian's head.
Marian walked back over to where she saw the girl last. She looked like she was still asleep. Marian poked her.
"Hey, what are you doing, lying on the atrium floor? You're could get killed!"
