[ note ] remedy norden would have found an envelope unsealed on her bed after dinner in somewhat legible handwriting spelling out her name on the very front of the envelope, with a letter stuffed inside without any other identifying markers. once opened she would see a letter from ulysses drake, his handwriting clean but still very much of a young wizard finding his way and growing up.

This is an informal invitation to the Drake residence for a casual get together before our usual New Years Draconic Showcase where we host and present some of the best dragons tamed and bred throughout the year past. My mom wants me to invite a few people over that i've befriended and well, I know you're the only one who will probably feel obligated to say yes. Let me know so I can tell her.

♦ Amused Arrogance; responding to Ulysses Drake ♦A frown met her lips upon discovering an envelope unsealed on her bed; curiosity pulled at the framework of her mind as she pried the handwritten letter from its sheath. Seeing the all-too-familiar scribblings of her housemate, Remedy's countenance softened at the thought of his effort before rolling her eyes and scoffing at his postscripts. Of course he'd make it weird.
[ note ] ulysses drake can find this letter on his bed the following lunch period. she would have hand-delivered it had she bothered to find him, but assumed he was glued to a broom or doing some other nonsense. the letter is sealed and neatly written, and most definitely not weird.TO @ULYSSES DRAKE ,
Thanks for the invitation. My Dad was likely going to drag us to go regardless, but I appreciate the thought of writing me this invitation. Tell your lovely mother that I'll be there in the dress that Bea got for my birthday last year. That red one you hate for whatever reason since you have the taste of a literal barbarian.
