How To Pick Your Pet
Elia was a girl who sought comfort through animals. She found them wiser to talk to and could usually be bribed through food to stay. At home her family owned a lop eared rabbit but the rabbit was far to old to travel to Hogwarts. Nonetheless, the poor girl had no real friends, just the occasional meet&greet in the hallway.
Elia wandered through the shop browsing different types of animals. There where rabbits, sure, but she wanted something a little more....
Relatable to herself.
She walked around, listening to the squeaky mice, and hooting owls, before she found a small crate with exactly one animal inside.
It was a Hedgehog, and the moment it saw her, it carefully approached her before shooting into a ball. Elia copied the movement by shooting backwards out of fear.
Timidly she approached again and looked at the description above the crate.
1 Hedgehog
2 Sickles and 4 knuts.
Elia looked back at the hedgehog before picking up the crate and staring at the cute little animal who wandered closer to her.
“I...I think... I think... we’ll be good.....good friends.” She said timidly, not taking her eyes off of the box.
