On this brisk December morning at Hogwarts, the air was tinged with a wintry chill, but Delilah, the vivacious and eccentric student, paid little attention to the cold. She emerged from the castle wearing her signature ensemble โ a pair of comically oversized blue overalls, a quirky mismatched set of socks, and old-fashioned shoes that seemed to have weathered many adventures and a star patterned jacket.
Her messy blonde curls bounced with each step as she made her way to the ancient tree that had become her morning refuge. Delilah's hazel eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint as she approached the towering branches. With lanky legs and a short stature, she somehow managed to navigate the roots and rocks beneath the tree with surprising agility.
As she began her ascent, the branches creaked and rustled in response to her presence. Delilah's odd laugh echoed through the air, a mixture of joy and the sheer thrill of defying gravity. The satchel swung at her side, its eclectic contents jingling with each movement. Rocks clinked against cat food, and the remnants of candies crinkled amidst yellowish parchments.
Reaching the uppermost branches, Delilah found herself in a serene haven above the world. The cold breeze tousled her curls as she gazed out at the Hogwarts grounds below, a panoramic view that only added to her sense of wonder.
And then, her satchel slipped from her grasp. Instead of the expected rustle of leaves, she heard a peculiar thud. A look of surprise crossed Delilah's face as she peered downward, realizing that her bag had landed not on the ground but on someone's head.

Time passed quickly at Hogwarts and before she knew it, it was December, but he thought that was no reason not to go out. She immediately put on something long-sleeved, a brown jacket and black trousers under it, and she grabbed her bag and walked out of the dormitory.
Even though winter had come, it had not snowed yet, but the weather was cold enough to indicate that winter was coming. Tori couldn't wait to see Hogwarts covered in snow. She sat under a tree and put his bag next to him. She opened his bag and started reading the book she had just started. When she got to the most exciting part of the book, he was startled when he felt something heavy fall on her head and the object fell into her lap. Even though it wasn't that heavy, her head hurt. When she realized the bag had fallen, she held her head and looked up the tree.
She saw a girl with blonde hair that looked like brown-green colors sitting in the upper branches of the tree. Looking at the girl made him feel weird for some reason.
"H-hey uhm girl in the tree. Isn't this bag yours? I don't think there is another girl in the tree though."

Delilah's hazel eyes widened as she peered down from the tree, taking in the sight of the girl below with cascading waves of fiery grace, her red hair dancing like autumn leaves in a gentle breeze. Her own weird outfit stood out against the girl's classic look. Delilah found a certain charm in the redhead's appearance.
With a playful smile, Delilah responded, "Oh, Merlin's Beard! Apologies, my dear! Didn't mean to drop my bag on your head. Hope it didn't scramble your brains too much!" Delilah's laughter echoed through the crisp winter air as she expertly navigated the branches, descending with the grace of a mischievous woodland sprite.
As she landed on the ground, her star-patterned jacket billowed like a magical cape, and her mismatched socks peeked out from beneath her oversized overalls. Delilah theatrically bowed, her messy blonde curls framing her face, " Sorry about that! You okay?"
She retrieved her eclectic satchel, the cat food and candies jingling once more. "No harm done, I hope. By the way, what book are you reading? Looks interesting!" She nodded towards the book in her lap, genuinely curious. "I'm always on the lookout for a good read. Mind sharing what's got you hooked?" Delilah, with a twinkle in her hazel eyes and a grin that could rival a Cheshire cat's, leaned in with an air of theatrical curiosity. "Hold on a minute, before you tell me anything about the book. Can we first unravel the grand mystery of your name? What do the stars and enchanted quills whisper when they speak of you?".

She reacted by laughing at what the girl said. She shook her head a little and when she realized that there was no sound of breaking, she laughed and looked back at the girl on the tree.
"It seems no problem."
Tori stared at the girl in admiration as she moved between the branches and deftly descended. She had a strange dressing style, but it suited the girl very well. She had just realized he was talking. She came to her senses immediately.
"No problem. I'm used to falling and having something happen to me."
She smiled warmly to show that nothing was wrong. The curly blonde haired girl leaning in made her smile. She looked at the page she was reading as if she had just remembered the book on her lap.
"My name is Victoria. Victoria Lena Jones. The word Victory in Latin and is also the name of the Goddess of Victory in Roman Mythology. The meaning of the name Lena means daylight or moonlight in Greek. What I'm reading is a book about plants. The plants in the Muggle world and the plants here seem to be quite different. So some plants here are attacking humans, and that's very different. So, What is your name? What is the meaning of your name? Would you like to sit?"
She was out of breath because she was talking too much and a little too fast. That's why she was a little red, like her hair, but even though it was a slight redness, it was quite visible because she had fair skin.
"What kind of books do you like to read?"

Delilah blinked down at Victoria, her golden curls falling in a cascade around her shoulders as she took in Tori's laughter. She grinned, the mischievous glint in her eyes unmistakable.
She observed Victoria with a quizzical expression, taking in the details of her unique dressing style. When Tori introduced herself and shared the meanings of her name, Delilah couldn't help but smirk. "Victoria Lena Jones, huh? That's quite the fancy name. It's like you're destined for victory under the moonlight or something."
Delilah's own name suddenly felt dull in comparison, and she wrinkled her nose as if she'd caught a whiff of something unpleasant. "I'm Delilah, but honestly, it sounds a bit too... I don't know, old-fashioned? Anyway, call me Del. Much cooler, right?"
She couldn't help but find it amusing that someone could talk so much that they ended up blushing. Must be passionate about her books, Delilah thought with a chuckle. Yet, a self-aware smirk tugged at the corner of her lips as she considered her own tendencies. Then again, I can talk a fair bit too, especially when someone's interesting enough to spend energy on.
She settled beside Victoria, crossing her legs as she leaned against the tree trunk. "Sci-fi and fantasy books are my jam. You know, worlds where people fight with magic and gadgets. Much more exciting than the Muggle world, I'd say."
" Besides, don't you find the Muggle world and its plants a bit... predictable? I mean, they don't fight back, do they?" Delilah winked, enjoying the lively conversation. "Wizard world's where the real fun's at."

@Delilah ChapmanTori couldn't help but be surprised. The people he talked to normally didn't see the metaphor in his name. She was very happy to find someone who thought like her.
Tori was pulled out of her thoughts as the girl introduced herself. In fact, he couldn't help but think that Del's name had a very different meaning, and she didn't hesitate to talk about it.
"In fact, the origin of the name is Hebrew. So even though it looks old fashioned, it has a different atmosphere. Its meaning is something like Vulnerable Evidence. Their qualities are expected to be aggressive, hard-working, ostentatious, mischievous, stubborn and impetuous. But Del sounds really cool."
She listened with great interest to what Del said about Science Fiction and Fantasy books.
"In other words, they do not resist, but some plants produce mechanisms to defend themselves, such as emitting a bad smell or removing their thorns. But there is no plant that responds like that in the wizarding world. Yes, it's where the fun is. It is so colorful and extraordinary that one cannot predict what will happen here. There is magic and it is a magical place. Nobody here looks at you like you're weird, it's a very understanding place."
Suddenly she dived away.
