Just Another Face In The Crowd
Daphne sat in a seat reading. It was one of her only last escapes left. Her book was a muggle book about a girl and a boy who belonged together. She sighed as she got to the part where they kissed. Why couldn't things be that easy in real life? She hadn't even left for school yet, and she was already scared and sad. Her great-grandfather had told her time and time again not to judge anyone else based on their house. Scanning the room, she noticed the others around her. Most of them were other bigger wizards, but there were a couple students her own age. She sighed again, wishing she had a friend to sit with her. Turning back to her book, she smiled lightly at the scene coming to be before her eyes, not wishing to focus on anything else. She took a sip of her drink, just regular water, before closing the book before her. She looked in her pockets to find that she had barely enough to pay for the water. "Dang it." She almost said it under her breath, but no one was listening to her, and no one would care if she said anything at all.

Just Another Face In The Crowd
Jennifer sat down in a chair, and began to read. Books always cheered her up, but this time, she wasn't so sure. She felt all alone, especially due to the fact that she didn't have many friends. Life wasn't as easy as she though it would be. Sighing, she decided to order a drink to wake herself up. As a worker walked past her, Jennifer quickly called out, "Umm, excuse me? Could I have some water?" The worker nodded and went off to get a drink.
When the worker came back, Jennifer franticly pulled out some money from her pockets, unsure how much it had cost, and ended up giving her a massive amount of tip. "Thank you." Jennifer said and smiled at the worker, as the worker walked away, she began to sipped the glass of water, and read her book. When finished reading a few pages, she looked around the room to rest her eyes. It was messy, and quite noisy. Jennifer looked down at her book again, but saw another girl sitting down not far away at the corner of her eye. Seemed about her age by the looks of it. After hesitating about approaching the girl, she finally walked up to the girl carefully, trying not to freak her out. Making sure that the girl could see her, Jennifer sat down near her. "Hello! Are you going to Hogwarts?"
