Gigi Montez| First Year, Ravenclaw

Hi! My name is Geneviene Evelyn Montez, but call me Gigi. I'm eleven years old, and I'm the house of the eagle, or Ravenclaw. As of now, I don't have a Patronus, but they sound cool, and when I'm older maybe I'll see if I can get it to work. My wand is 23 inches, chestnut wood and dragon heartstring. I'm full human, and I just started my first year here at Hogwarts.

Family: I come from a big family. I live with my Nana and Pa. I don't have any siblings, though I do have a lot of cousins! Ree, Georgie, Donna, Maxie, Lexie(twins), Beatrice, Lara, and Ben. Most of my family lives in Wales, but my aunt Clarisse, uncle David, and Beatrice and Ben live in Spain, where my mother grew up. She died of dragonpox when I was five. I also don't have any pets, but I guess you could count the strays I feed, because they trust me a lot... I don't see my grandfather, because he and Nana are divorced.

Personality: Everyone says I have a pretty voice whenever I sing, but that makes me nervous, so I don't really do that kind of thing. What I really love is sitting by myself and reading. Or drawing, I can draw lots of different things with a pencil and paper. Nana and Pa don't see me angry too much, because I hate the idea of anger. When I'm angry, I look ugly, and I can't stand it. but when I do get anger, I have a fierce temper. Nana taught me everything I know, and she says I'm extremely smart for my age, which is shocking because I've never actually gone to school before.

Looks: I look most like my mother, with her blonde hair and blue eyes. I have Pa's height, and his tanned skin. I usually wear my hair in a braid that goes down to my waist, and sometimes in the summer I get a dusting of freckles across my nose. It was a surprise that I got Nana's face, though. I like my small nose, and my pointed ears. It makes me look like a pixie.

Life Before Hogwarts: I usually spent my days helping Nana around the house, learning whatever I could. She taught me how to read, write, and lots of history about the wizarding world. When I was around four, I found two kittens in a box. I named them both, Hermione and Rowena. Since then, I have always fed them, and knit them little sweaters in the winter. Pa's allergic to cats, so I can't keep them, but he agreed to let me take care of them from the safety of outside the house. We live in the countryside around the city of Cardiff, in a little cottage covered in vines. I would read anything I could get my hands on, including cookbooks!
