A New Feeling
[quote]Annabelle made her way to Charms with an air of an unwelcoming presence, a group of students steered clear of her because of the medium-sized spider in her hand. It seems to be a common spider, bigger than most but still common. She found it in the dungeons and wants to find it a dark and cold place for it but for now chooses to keep the adorable creature in her hand, not caring whose attention she has unknowingly gained.
She took a seat at the desk closest to the door in case she needs a quick escape or doesn't want to speak to someone, the spider has long settled in her open hand almost completely relaxed. Taking the time to look at her deskmate Annabelle was pleasantly surprised to see a Hufflepuff, she looks rather out of place and new to magic. Must be a muggleborn. She doesn't look savage or uncultured.
As Annabelle analyzes the girl with her different colored eyes, she notices that the girl looks like an oddly adorable curious owl. In fact, the girl's green eyes fill her with a weird feeling of fondness. Annabelle's pureblood side wants to taunt the girl but then she remembers what Esme told her, Maybe this is an opportunity for me to make a new friend.
A pit forms in Annabelle stomach, draining her of all her usual confidence and arrogance, making her a nervous mess. Desperate to hold on to the last of her confidence, she says the first thing that comes to mind. "You look like an Owl." It was a rather stupid thing to say and it seems like even the spider thinks that was a dumb thing to say, well in Annabelle's mind the spider is shaking its head at her.

A New Feeling
Andrea was usually late, but this time she had finally made it on time. Charms was her favorite subject so she always tried her best not to be late for charm class. She also didn’t want to loose house points. She walked into the room with a big smile on her face and took a seat close to the door. Everyone was talking and waiting for people to sit down so the class could start. Andrea didn’t feel like talking to anyone so she sat quiet in her seat. It was one of her first charm classes and she didn’t know anyone in this class. She had already made some friends at Hogwarts, but didn’t know them that well yet. She was still looking for new friends and she wanted to be liked by people. Andrea looked at everyone walking into the room, maybe some of them were her future friends.
A girl with a medium big spider walked in the room and looked at Andrea. Is that her pet, Andrea started to question looking curious at the girl. What a weird thing to bring to charm class. The girl started walking towards Andrea and sat down next to her. She looked at Andrea with her different colored eyes and it was a bit weird Andrea though. Not her eyes, but her holding a spider and looking at Andrea the way she did. Was there something wrong with the way Andrea looked? The girl seemed nice though and Andrea didn’t mind sitting next to her at all. Andrea was probably just overthinking, there was probably nothing wrong with how she looked. “You look like an owl.” “what” did she just say Andrea looked like an owl? Andrea started overthinking again. Her head was full of questions. Was looking like an owl a good thing? An owl? she asked the girl confused. Is that bad? she quickly adds still looking really confused. It was a kinda random thing to say Andrea though.
