Being a Blossom meant many things, such as being the first to hear of news. "Hannah, I told you so many times! I don't know who the family is, just that they are muggles! They are moving into the Johansen's old manor." said her mother.
"Fine then... I'll just head out to the garden." said the girl, wearing a nice yellow dress, which she would probably change, since it was way too formal for diner.
The family that would be moving into the manor next to the Blossom's was a mystery. She had no idea who they were, but her mother wanted to invite them to diner, to meet them and everything. Even though they would arrive in the late afternoon, and it was still 16:00, dinner was ready in the kitchen. Hannah had tried on a few dresses, and the one that she was wearing was her favorite.
The girl went into her room and took of the dress, changed into comfier clothing, and then headed downstairs to the garden. She smiled. Her dogs were already there. "Wednesday! Tuesday. You boys, come here!" said the girl. Then, she went over to the bridge and looked at the lake, and then she sat down there and started playing with her dogs for a bit.
Hannah knew that her house, which wasn't actually a house, was built in the late 18th century, over a large lake, and these were the remains of it. The house was built by a wizard, who was also a genius, and then later bought by the Blossom family, or said her father.
She then was called inside since it was going to rain, well, pour, according to one of her maids. The girl brought her dogs to the pet room and went to her room, since her mother wanted to get her ready. Her hair was curled, and put up in a hairstyle, with half of her hair up and half down. A bit of makeup was done, and then she put her dress on.
Hannah then looked outside and saw a moving truck. Of course, it was the family moving into the manor. Her mother asked for a maid to go over there and invite them. Every Blossom dinner with guests was a fancy dinner, so if the family came underdressed, that would be a problem.
The girl headed to the library and read for quite some time, to wait for the guests, and once they finally got there, she was in shock. "Ben!" said the girl. Benjamin, or Ben was her childhood best friend, who she always played with in the gardens. He moved away when
he was nine, to France. They lost contact, but now.. he was back. "Hannah! I thought you knew! I've got lots to tell!" he had a thick French accent, which explained a lot, since he was in France.
She smiled. "Duh! You were in France, come on, to the observatory! Spill everything." said the scarlet haired girl, and of they went. Benjamin then started talking.
"I missed you so much! Well, since you don't have a phone I couldn't text you, but I discovered that I have, well magic. I'm a wizard! I went to a school called Beauxbatons, and I met lots of wizards like me! My parents decided to move back earlier this year, but we still own our house there which is a lot smaller then the manor, but.. isn't it great that I'm back? I thought you hadn't moved, and you didn't! I'm so excited to be back! Now, your turn!"
"Can't believe this but.. I'm a witch too! I go to Hogwarts, another school that has magic and students like me, well us, technically. I was born pure- half-breeded. My grandmother is a Veela. I believe many in your school are like me, and my parents like to keep it a secret. Just, don't tell anyone, okay? Also, if you want to continue studying magic, my parents have many tutors to your disposition. I'm tutoring during Spring and Christmas break. Still, I have got to go to Hogwarts, so I'm sorry, but I wont be staying here."
"Wow.. I don't know what to say. You caught me in shock. And uh- that would be great! I understand you going. You've got new friends and learning.. Hogwarts must be nice! I went to a ball there, didn't see you though." said the boy. A maid came in and spoke "Miss Blossom and Monsieur Johansen, did I say it right? Dinner is served." he nodded. The pair went of and ate.
And that was it. Benjamin was back, and he was a wizard too, just like Hannah. Things wouldn't be the same, and they needed to catch up. The lost boy returned home.. the girl knew he would always come back.
