Library Mini Book Club Closed

"Aah," AJ mused quietly as they entered their sanctuary, the library, and headed to where their was a corner with comfortable chairs. They had had a long day and wanted nothing more than to sit down and read one of the books they had brought from home to school. Now was the perfect setting to do so. The library didn't have many people, so it was especially quiet today, which was strange but felt so good.

AJ pulled out their favorite book, "North of Beautiful," by Justina Chen, and got settled down in their seat to read. The book was about a girl with a huge read birthmark on their left cheek who had to learn to accept herself and determine what they want for their future. It was also a romance novel, one of AJ's absolute favorite genres to read. They liked both romance and science-fiction, and occasionally they liked to read mystery. It was funning putting all the pieces of the puzzle together to figure out the mystery. But AJ most likes science-fiction, because of all of the possibilities, and romance, because it was all cute and fun and enticing. AJ was just a really interesting peep.

AJ continued to read through the first chapter. They had just started the book for the second time over. They had loved it so much the first time that they felt the need to read it a second time. Oh, good times it was.
