Fishing for Friends
As I strolled along the corridors of Hogwarts, my heart brimmed with excitement, yearning for companions with whom I could wholeheartedly share in the enchantment of the wizarding world. The castle's grandeur and the allure of magic had drawn me in, but the loneliness I felt as the echoing hallways remained stubbornly the same began to cast a shadow on my initial enthusiasm.
I questioned my own likeability. Were my actions, words, or even my presence somehow causing my peers to shy away? The idea that I might be intimidating or unapproachable gnawed at me, like a riddle yet to be solved.
A flicker of self-doubt ignited within my thoughts, akin to a distant ember in a vast, dark forest. The loneliness seemed to loom larger, enveloping me in a shroud of uncertainty. Yet, deep within, I recognized that it was only my first year, a mere prologue to a grand adventure. I stared at my shoes, the light breeze push my hair back lightly.
I bumped into a fellow student as I was lost in thought. I stumbled back,
"Sorry" I said, a bit scared but at the same time excited, I looked up since I was looking at the floor earlier and I saw...

Fishing for Friends
Quinn was walking briskly down the corridor. She was maybe the most excited for making friends at hogwarts. Quinn had made many friends in ravenclaw but her mom had told her all about the friends she had had in other houses. I hope I get a friend from anouther house Quinn thought as she leaned against the corridoor to fix her bag. Quinn loved the way hogwarts was. The moving staircases the way that the castle seemed to move at night... Quinn looked down at her bag and relized that she only had a few of her books that she needed for the day. Oh well I guess I'll just have to go back at one point. Quinn thought as she looked but her bag back on her shoulder. Quinns thoughts started to turn the day she was sorted, Quinn remembered the way that she was so scared that she would be told she didn't have enough magic. But Quinn did have enough, the hat had sat there thinking about the best house to put her in from all the thougths and other things in her head. Quinn got so rapped up in her head that she didn't look where she was going and walked right into a girl.
"oh sorry" the girl said looking up.
"oh no that's my fault, I didn't look where I was going" Quinn replied.
