Hi, this is the detective agency where we do detective stuff. If you want to do detective stuff you need to apply for a position. Everyone starts as a Police Officer. If you solve a case you move up a rank. If you are at a high rank you are allowed to do lower ranking tasks. You may not do higher level tasks. Also I am Chief. This supports the talk "Trials". If you have a case at the beginning of your post put the word “guest”.

The responsibilities of a Police Officer are: 1. traffic stops 2. responding to accidents/crime reports 3. writing reports 4. taking statements from suspects and witnesses

The responsibilities of a sergeant are: 1. surveillance 2. follow-up investigations 3. run command at major field assessments (i.e. mass shootings, police shootings etc.) 4. coach and mentor subordinates

The responsibilities of a lieutenant are: 1. assisting the commanding officer with the management, oversight, assignments, and direction of an entire department 2. overseeing the specialised, standard police or detective units 3. taking charge of active crime scenes in the field.
