On the train
Andrea sits down on a available seat. She’s a bit early so there is not a lot of people on the train yet. Her trunk is under her seat. She got her robes, wand and all her other belongings with her. (All the belongings that she needs.) she is alone and waiting for the other new students to get on. She is sitting by the window so she can see all the students waving bye to their parents and younger siblings. Her parents had just left the station after saying goodbye to the young girl. It was sad leaving your parents and knowing you wouldn’t see them in a long time.
She is wearing a brown carhartt jacket, black and white shoes, a band T-shirt and jeans. She has a pair of headphones around her neck (that doesn’t work because she is in the magical world)
Andrea takes on her headphones and tries to turn on the smiths while she looks outside at all the people and maybe future friends. She presses the on button on her Walkman that she got from her father, but it doesn’t turn on. The button goes down but there is no music. What’s going on, Andrea think’s to herself. After pressing the bottom around fifty times Andrea gave up. She takes her headphones around her neck again and turns too look outside. She is thinking about how the sorting ceremony is going to be and what she is going to do if she gets into a house she doesn’t want to be in. She is very excited to meet all the teachers and learn more about magic. While looking outside she was hoping they had music at Hogwarts. What was she going to do without her music?

Ember: "Speech."
Ember hadn't ever been gone from home before. She had never seen anything beyond the meadows and forests of her home (except for that one incident). And now, not only was she off to a place that she had never been to, she had to leave her family behind. To say she was nervous was an understatement. There was the thrill of finally going off to Hogwarts, but the fear of not quite knowing what she was doing and with no one to lean on was getting to her. She felt out of place among many of the other students, wearing muggle clothing. Her favorite mint colored shirt, cargo shorts, and a light grey jacket. It was starting to hit her that this would be a truly novel experience, and she could not know what she was getting into, even if her father was a wizard.
Not wanting to mill about for too long, Ember entered the first compartment that she came across, which happened to have another student within. "Hello? Do you mind if I sit here?" she didn't want to intrude if the girl didn't want anyone to join her in the compartment, especially because she was already there first. At first glance, the girl seemed to also have some sort of muggle upbringing. That was a good sign, one similarity, right? "If you want me to leave that's fine too, I can find another compartment. Just- yeah." And Ember just stared awkwardly as she awaited a response.

The exited girl sat in her seat humming to her favorite the smiths song. She was still looking outside at all the interesting people. She had never seen a wizard or witch before. knowing all the kids outside was able to do magic was crazy to think about. There was all sort of people outside. It was fascinating to Andrea how most of them looked like normal people. Some people were crying and some were super happy. Most of them were dressed in muggle clothes and had normal hairstyles just like Andrea’s muggle family. It wasn’t weird muggles didn’t know about Witches and wizards when they looked just like them.
Andrea heard a sound coming from the door of the compartment she was sitting in. There was a girl standing there. Andrea turned to the girl and took of her headphones. The music kept on going and you could hear it through her headphones. “I don’t mind.” she responded smiling nicely at the girl. Andrea looked at the girl walking into the compartment. ”I’m Andrea.” she said when the girl had taken a seat. She paused for a second and added, “Andrea Harrison” she reached out her hand while smiling hopping the girl would shake her hand. After the handshake (or not) she turned of her music and took her headphones into her trunk.

Ember: "Speech."
She smiled back, returning the handshake with a gloved hand. "Thank you. I'm Ember... Candlelight. Nice to meet you Andrea!" she slid into the seat on the opposite side, right next to the window. Now that there was nothing to be done but wait, she could feel the full force of the situation begin to hit her. It would be not too long before she would be leaving everything behind. She should've spent more time saying goodbye to her father, but he was busy. Ember knew she would not see him even as she peered through the window. He had already left to return to his job, being a Healer and all. Although that saddened her slightly, she knew what he did was important. After all, that's what she wanted to do as well.
Ember dragged her gaze from the window, eyes landing on Andrea's shirt. "I like your shirt. Are you from a muggle family?" She was going to add on a 'too', but decided that she technically had enough knowledge of magic that she wouldn't consider herself fully from a muggle family. Even if she had been raised like one. "And which class are you looking forward to? I'm so excited for Herbology!"

Andrea answer Ember with excitement, “Thanks and yeah. It’s my favorite band, on the T-shirt.” Andrea smiled bright. She was happy someone wanted to talk too her on her first day in the magical world. Her shirt was green with a image on. Over the image with big letter was written The Smiths. “Both my parents are muggles and they don’t know anything about magic.” she sights and adds, “I wish I was a pure blood.” It was going too be hard studying classes at Hogwarts for Andrea because she didn’t know anything about magic, just like her parents. She was jealous of the other students who knew magic and grew up with it. It was so much easier for them to pass test and do the homework right. That wasn’t what she thought about the most though so it was fine. She was really excited and was looking forward too meet new people and see new things.
“I’m looking forward to Charms.” Andrea answer the girl in front of her. Charms looked like the easiest and Funniest class and making things fly looked so cool Andrea thought. “Are you looking forward to charms?” Andrea questioned Ember hoping they could start a conversation.

Ember: "Speech."
Ember did not recognize the band, as her family didn't really listen to much music in general. That was one subject her knowledge could be found quite lacking in. Her free time was often spent exploring the outdoors, where she already had the sounds of nature to accompany her treks. "I haven't heard of them before. Are there any songs you'd recommend?" Though that said, she wasn't sure if there would be some way to listen to music at Hogwarts at all. Maybe when she returned home.
"It must've been a surprise for you to find out you have magic." Ember leaned forward in her seat, resting both arms on the table. She tilted her head at the mention of pureblood. "What's so bad about being muggle-born?" After all, all students were headed to the same place, were they not? They would attend the same classes and learn the same things. She had heard of purebloods having arrogant tendencies, something she didn't understand at all.
"Charms sounds fun! Though, anything magic is fun. I wonder if we'll be able to make things grow? Summon objects? Or..." Ember trailed off, trying to imagine the possibilities. Her father wasn't around enough for her to fully understand what magic could be used for, but her main focus was on how it could heal. She was very excited to learn about magical plants at Hogwarts. But before classes, and before all of that, there would be the sorting. It was something that she had been thinking about for quite a while. "What house do you think you'll be in?"

“My favorite song by them is, there is a light that never goes out so I would recommend that one. And then I would recommend, this charming man.” Andrea answer with a smile. “I like most of their songs, but those are probably my favorites.” Andrea wasn’t sure if she looked like a person who listens to the smiths. Maybe she looked like a person who liked to listen to rap? She didn’t know, but it wasn’t that important neither. Music was a big part of her life and she wouldn’t go a day without it. She always had her headphones with her, even places she knew she wouldn’t use them, just in case she one day would.
“It was. I have always known something was different about me, but that I could do magic and was a witch. I would never have guessed that.” It wasn’t before she got her letter Andrea knew she was a witch. “I didn’t know there was a Hogwarts before I got my letter.” she adds on. There was nothing wrong about being a muggle-born, but Andrea had a feeling it would be really hard for her too learn at Hogwarts because of the fact that she had never used magic before. “don’t get me wrong, There is nothing wrong about being a muggle-born I just wish I grew up with magic like most people here. It looks so cool.” Andrea said hoping Ember would understand what she meant.
“I really don’t know.” She really didn’t know. Andrea was a brave and loyal person that liked pranks and making people laugh and because of that she might end up in Gryffindor, but she is also a quite, calm and loving person and that might mean she would end up in Hufflepuff. It would most likely be one of them. “I think I’m going to be either a Hufflepuff or a Gryffindor.” she said still really happy. “What about you, what house do you think you will get sorted into?”

Nick's Speaking| Nick's Thinking
Nick wake up late. And he immediately realised that he can be late on his train from Plymouth to London and then be late on this strange "Hogwarts Express". He had no ideas about it's look and "Platform 9 3/4" shocked him even more. "Yeah, it was very difficult to prove my father that I should go there" Nick thought "But the main difficulty is that I don't really believe in it myself... Buying this strange things was quite expensive and strange... Well, it all looks like one strange night..." So, Nick was in hurry when he was taking all his things and then ran to the train station. When he finally got the train he could understand that he forget to eat. That was a horror. He had no money in his pockets (the last money he spent on buying some strange coins in the Wizarding world) and, as a result, he had no NORMAL money. That was a great problem. He should spend 3 hour in this train and then some number or hours in the express and he didn't know about food there. So he just sit. His hunger was so annoying but he had no choice.
After 3,5 hours of going train came to London. Nick went to the platform. There were nothing like 9 3/4. NOTHING. It was shocking. Nick started walking around it and soon understood that it all looks like a prank. "Well" he thought "I will wait for some time and then will come home". He sit down and were sitting for some time. Then two guys asked him to go out of there and do out of there. Then they disappeared. Nick came to the previous place, but a pair of young men asked him to leave that place, then they also disappeared. All this time Nick had an awful headache and stomach ache. Lack of food was too harming. But when the third pair of people asked him to go away he realised that it all looks strange. He looked at them and saw their disappearance. That was shocking. He came to the wall and touched it. It was just a wall! So he tried to repeat their actions. He started running into the wall and found himself on the new world. It was shinning and there were lots of people there. "OMG, magic EXISTS" he thought. Then he came to the train. It was really beautiful. He liked it form the first look. So he decided to enter it.
He gave his ticket to a wizard and went to the train. At the moment he realised all the stomach ache he had. He asked some guys for some food and they explained him how to find a witch selling food. He came and found her. Fortunately, they took his strange coins and gave him enough food to eat. It was really tasty, but he basically didn't care about taste as he was too hungry. One moment the train started going but Nick didn't notice it as he was all in eating.
When he wasn't hungry more he decided to find a place to seat. But there were no free seats. He was walking from one wagon to the next and there were no seats. He was starting giving up but suddenly he saw two girls talking to each other. He came and said "Unfortunately, you don't have choice and I'll sit down here as there are no more places. All this magic makes me crazy. I even forgot my food at home. Do you all know what do we gonna have there in this Hogwarts? I know nothing and for me it all looked like a prank till I saw a disappearing people and walls. Did you have some problems with entering it? It was just awful for me. And, please, say what do we gonna have today. I really would to hear all the info as I know just NOTHING! Can help, please? Oh, I forgot what's your names, girls? I'm Nick. Name me Nick, okay?"
It's time to saw Nick's look: he was tall, fit guy. Slim guy. And was rather sympathetic. He was wearing his usual shirt and jeans as he decided not to wear all the strange clothes he had to buy.
"Oh, yeah, and what are this coins I have used to buy some food from the witch in the end of the train?" he asked.

Andrea looked at the boy standing by the door. She didn’t mind him sitting with them at all. “Take a seat.” she said looking at the boy with a smile. She didn’t understand everything he said while he was standing looking at them, but she tried her best to understand. The boy asked them a lot of questions at once and Andrea tried her best to answer him. “I didn’t have any problems running through the brick wall. It was just a bit scary and -yeah like really different then anything I’ve ever done before.” she answered the boy. She was really curious about what type of problems except being scared he had when running through the wall. “Okey.” she answered to his next question. She thought it was a bit weird asking if it was okay for someone to use your name. It was okey for her to call him nick if that was his name. I’m Andrea, Andrea Harrison. Nice meeting you.” Nick looked like a nice person and besides the fact that Andrea didn’t understand everything he said he seemed to be a fun person to talk too.

Nick's Speaking | Nick's Thinking
"Nice to meet you, Andrea" said Nick. "Well, what were we talking about? Oh, yeah, going through walls. Well, my problem was that I didn't understand what should I do. I saw it only when one of the wizards did it. That looked crazy. I tried and did it. That was cool. That moment I believed in magic. Oh, what about your parents? Do they believe in magic? My dad said it's a joke and I had to agrue with him that it's all serious... You know, parents all care for their children and my dad diliked an idea of letting me going out. Yeah... And what about you? Your parents? Oh, I've already asked you? I'm sorry, I'm a little bit mad because of all this train and magic... You know, I knew nothing about it before I got the owl from Hogwarts".
He looked at the girl. She was rather sympathetic and Nick realised that he'd like to be friends with her. But he immideatly understood that he has still no ideas of what will be in the nearest future. So, he asked "Oh. Yeah, you didn't answer my question about the nearest future? What gonna happen after we'll come to the station? In this Hogwarts?"
"Hm, what can it be, this school... I have no ideas. Maybe these girles can show me the truth... Unlucky me, I had no money to buy some books about the Wizarding World. I know nothing" Nick thought while the Express was going faster and faster. There were an amazing landscape outside the window. Nick who had never left Plymouth was shocked by its beauty.
"Well, and these all guys. The girls look like good friends but other ones... Hm, faces of some guys I've seen when I were entering the train weren't really friendly. Moreover, they looked aggressive. And rich. I've never talked to rich guys, I usually kicked them... But here in magic world we have other rules..." Nick's brain was full of thought.
