The First Day
Quinn nervously looked around the station as her mom edged her forward
"sweetheart what's wrong?" Her mom asked
"Well I feel like everyone is staring at me and I am scared they might find out" Quinn replied. Her mom patted her comfertingly.
"Quinn if you are scared about the train ride just tell me" Her mom said seeing right through Quinns lie.
"Mom what if... what if this was a mistake?" Quinn mumbled.
"Quinn!" Her mom said sternly
"you know those acts of magic were not just in you head! You will do great!"
"But mom what if I am not in Ravenclaw like you?" Quinn asked.
"then I will love you anyway, I don't care Quinn as long as you aren't a Gryffendor" Quinns mom replied and they both shared a laugh. Quinn finnnaly reached platform 9 3/4 and she ran through the barrier.
"wow" were her first words. Quinn marvled at the scene. A giant train, birds swooping in and out, friends meeting up. It was pure chaos but not in a bad way. As Quinn made her way towards the train she heard something and saw a clock warning people that there were only 10 more until the train took off.
"QUINN" Quinn looked around and immediatly smiled.
"VALERIE" she cried and she threw her arms around her friend.

The First Day
Valerie and Quinn embraced in a hug.
"I am so excited to see you here!" Valerie said
"Same" Quinn replied happily.
"come on lets go get a compartment" Quinn suggested.
"you go I will catch up" Valerie replied. Quinn and Valerie seperated and Quinn headed for her mom.
"Hey Quill come to say goodbye" her mom said playfully using Quinns nickname.
"oh mom please don't use that name" Quinn said rolling her eyes. Then she unexpectedly hugged her mom.
"send letters every week!"Quinn said finnally letting go of her mom. her mom nodded eyes tearing up.
"by mom"
"by Quinn". And Quinn stepped onto the train towards a new adventure, towards her first day. Quinn walked towards the train it's gleaming body pronounced. Quinn wondered if it would be hard to be away from her parents for a while. I wonder if I will make any new friends at hogwarts? Quinn thought. Quinn saw lot's of other people embracing and talking animatedly. Does everbody else know people? Quinn wondered if her accent would stand out. She waved again to her mom and then walked toward the train. Quinn tried not to step on people's feet as it got more crowded with people trying to get onto the train.
"Get ready hogwarts, I'm coming." Quinn stepped onto the train, ready to start her adventure.
