A New Flying Friendship

Quidditch Practice was something Madi loved!! Flying on a broom made her feel so free and, now that she was finally part of the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team, even if it was only as a second string chaser, being apart of a team and playing a sport that Madi enjoyed so much, made her excited. She'd been playing and learning the rules and game of Quidditch from a young age since her dad had been a professional Quidditch player in his prime days.
As Madi headed to the Quidditch Training Pitch, the air had a chill to it, but not a harsh chill, one that brushed her skin gently and, though it made her feel cold, she knew that after training, it would help her cool down instantly. When she arrived at the training pitch, she saw that Slytherin were practicing too. None of her teammates were there yet and Madi knew she was early, so she got one of the school brooms out and made sure it was in good shape, since other students used them too. Whilst Madi was waiting for the rest of her team, Slytherin finished and came off the field.
Madi walked on as they walked off and, whilst most of them ignored her, she saw a girl she recognised, Mellani Miller, who she had seen around the school before. She was friends with Madis boyfriend Simon Tilia and if she was friends with Simon, Madi knew she was nice. Madi walked over to her with a smile and introduced herself. "Hey, I don't think we've met before, I'm Madison, I think you're friends with my boyfriend Simon Tilia" she says and giggles. "Nice flying by the way, what position do you play on the pitch?" Madi asked in a friendly manner.
