Blackberry Jam on Toast

task one: plan
The story will follow a main character who leads a simple life. Unlike the usual Freytag's Pyramid structure, I want the story to be snippets of the character experiencing everyday things - and not a sequence of events in chronological order. People should be able to start reading at any chapter and not feel confused. I will include introduction chapters at the beginning to give the reader some context and starting info about the character(s)/setting(s).
I chose the title 'Blackberry Jam on Toast' because it's quite random and I think it fits the vibe of what I want the rest of the story to be like. A bit whimsical but also relaxed and easy to read. The genre for 'Blackberry Jam on Toast' would be 'slice-of-life' with a smidge of bildungsroman and maybe some romance.
The target audience would be quite broad - it could probably be narrowed down to children's fiction and young adult. I think a lot of people would enjoy this type of approach to story-telling regardless of age because it's easy to read and entertaining in an almost relatable way. At the same time, I'd like to add elements of surprise when it comes to predictable things (for eg. Christmas doesn't exist, and in its place is a holiday celebrating blazers) - the world could also be a bit funky. At the end of the day, I want 'Blackberry Jam on Toast' to have a very relatable character AND also push the bounds of creativity in terms of world-building/the "norm" (I CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE SMTH COOL OUT OF THIS!!!)
I would like the book to contain a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 50 chapters (really banking on my consistency here) - excluding the introduction chapters, each chapter will be less than 2000 words (roughly 4 pages in hardcopy). I want each chapter to sum up a small scene and no two chapters should be connected in any way (other than the world it's in and the characters of course). I will prioritise the weekly writing prompt that's given and then move on with my own ideas after.
Events in 'Blackberry Jam on Toast' will be inspired from my own life and whatever media I consume during the writing process (no copyrighting issues or plagiarism will happen under my watch - don't worry).
I would also like to make the final chapter of the story be related to the title so it feels like the book goes full circle : )

task two: character OR setting creation!!!!
The main character is called Theo and nothing in the books should explicitly describe his physical appearance. I want to show the character through his emotional characteristics and not depend on physical description too much. Theo will be between the ages of 10 and 30 (depending on the chapter) and I want the passage of time to be all over the place. Readers can make inferences from the text and figure out his approximate age in each chapter (however, I might start every chapter with the date; so readers will be able to figure out his exact age when they know his birthday).
Theo has a sister called Ella and a few chapters may or may not (I'll see) be based around her/be narrated by her. Ella's age is also unconfirmed but she is older than Theo.
The characters don't have a last name as of yet - I don't think it's too necessary, but if the time comes, I will give them one.
As unspecific as Theo may seem at this point, I also want to be oddly specific when it comes to other things about him; such as his birthday, favourites, likes, dislikes etc. Here is a profile about Theo:
