akina's stomach growled as she pushed her way through the mahogany double doors. her stomach lurched in pain; not only from hunger, but also from nervousness. october 6th was nearing so. fast. why was she obsessing over this day?
because of the fall ball.
it was going to be her first ball! and she was going to be going alone, looking like an absolute failure! akina remembered being told repeatedly by her mother that girls were supposed to keep their head down and just continue life looking for a husband/boyfriend/whatever weird word that made akina throw up inside. obviously, akina hadn't been looking for one, but now that she wasn't a first year anymore, she saw most of her friends and everyone around her already had a partner! and inside, deep down inside her, she felt a tiny bit of envy...?
if she didn't find a boy to dance with at the fall ball, she would probably not have anyone to talk with for the whole year. and what if everyone laughed at her?! she felt like curling up into a ball and going home. akina sighed and took a bite out of her food. maybe she was just tired. or hungry. or nervous that she would be GOING ALONE TO THE FALL BALL.
OOC notes: yeah um dramatic akina here! so um this thread is open to anyone. but since akina is straight, ur character cant go with akina to the fall ball if they're a girl. im okay with inpcs but dont prefer it. owl me with any questions! this thread will be open until october 6.
