Bouncing Off
Date: Sunday, September 18
Time: 13:07Roa had looked at the time not too long ago and may have freaked. He had planned to go to the Owlery at one to send a letter to his aunt. He had wanted to send it out specifically at one because his aunt didn’t wake up until ten on Sundays. He knew she would be at home at one, and leave for church at two. Meaning, if his didn’t get it out now, there would be no reply until late. Because she always stayed out late on Sunday evenings.
He grips the envelope in his hand as he rushes into the courtyard. He casts a cursory glance around the space, taking in the details quickly. The large fountain in the center and the stones set into the ground. The stones were set with winding patterns that circled the fountain and he smiles slightly. He makes a mental note to come back at some point to relax and enjoy his free time. Maybe eat lunch out here.
He notes the few students milling about and then looks down at the letter gripped in his hand. He then looks around the courtyard. He takes a long moment before realizing his was lost. He didn’t know where to go from here, how to get to the Owlery. He sighs and keeps his gaze on the letter in his hand for another long moment before stuffing it into his pocket and moving forward.
He practically slams right into something, no someone else. He bounces back, squeaking slightly and he looks up, “Sorry! I didn’t mean too. I wasn’t paying attention.”WC: 267

You're an absolutely stunning, murderous little creature. // Prince Casteel Da'Neer, from From Blood and Ash by Jennifer J. Armentrout
