Closed The fumble for homework

It was time to bring out the Transfiguration homework. Everyone brought out their parchment, with a rather defeated air. After all, the assignment they had been given was indeed the hardest they had ever received in this class, and quite a few students had only a few sentences written down. Heather couldn't help but feel rather proud as she saw the short amounts of text her fellow wizards and witches had wrote on the topic. She had been listening very intently in class, and in return, she was sure she had wrote a long, splendid essay on the topic. She would get such a good grade! The professor would see how remarkable she was. But not if she didn't take out her homework first. Heather searched around for her parchment and quill, and was beginning to feel rather panicked when she couldn't find it in her book bag. Well, what now? Everyone was heading towards the professor's desk to turn in their homework, and a few glances were directed towards Heather, as she was the only one who stayed rooted in her seat. Heather looked around frantically. Her first assignment, and she had lost it? So much progress, and the great words she wrote, all gone? No, this couldn't be happening!
By then, most everyone had turned in their parchment, and Heather was sure the professor would realize that she was the only one who hadn't turned it in. No, she couldn't let this happen- what if she checked her book bag again? Do a more through search? Perhaps then her homework would emerge.
With a thin thread of hope, Heather looked through her book bag again. Search revealed it to be at the bottom of the bag, under all her other things, like her remembrall. It was crumpled, all right, but at least it was still in one piece. With a relieved spring in her step, Heather grabbed the parchment and skipped towards the professor's desk.
