A Moment to...forget!
Dialogue: X | Thoughts: X
Date: Thursday, beginning of July 2023
Interacting with: @Ileen KnightThe clouds were high in the sky that afternoon and the sun shyly spread its rays towards the Hogwarts grounds. Klaus looked up when he heard an owl hooting and recognized the white and silver-gray bird almost immediately. Auriga was the youngest owl in the Havertz family, therefore the most resilient to withstand longer journeys. The majestic bird landed next to him, on top of an old and twisted tree trunk. Around its paw was a small roll of parchment, tied with a delicate red ribbon and the family symbol was engraved on the seal that held it in the center of the bow. The golden-haired boy reached up to untie the message from the snowy owl, his eyes narrowed, not exactly expecting a message from home so soon. Unrolling the parchment, Klaus saw the thin, elegant lines of his mother's handwriting.Klaus looked at the letter a minute longer, letting his mother's words sink. Nothing knew about the words addressed he could clearly hear his mother's voice and the right tone in her voice, demanding and distant. He knew his fate, it was well and meticulously planned. Oriana will make sure that he will obey to her in every single step, every single decision. All he could do was not failing her and his father, and he will never complain about it. He knew that was the only way, he knew no other options or even accept or consider them. Sighing slightly in annoyance, Klaus reached to his brown leather satchel and took a small treat to give to his owl. Auriga quickly accepted and flew away, stretching his light feathers across the blue sky.Letter from: Oriana Havertz
To: Niklaus Havertz
Dear child,
Hope this letter finds you well.
I am writing to let you know that your father and I hope you perform exemplarily during your first duel. Remember that it is not just your school's name that you are defending, but everything you do is reflected in our family's name. I'll never let you forget that, as the oldest of our children is your responsibility to give the example.
I'll be waiting to receive your reply to this message,
Oriana Havertz
The young Durmstrang took his wand from inside his pocket and hold it in his hands for a minute. His ice-blue eyes having a glue and unnatural warmth in them. It may have passed by how the golden sun light was reflected in them, but in his heart was a stung, some mix of feelings that he would never let himself explore further, it was far better, far more comfortable, to hold his wand and let those feelings flow through spells, and in fact, he was in need of some training. Klaus looked straight ahead, to the big rocks slightly hidden by vegetation, it would be perfect to be able to aim some spells at it, but admittedly, the campgrounds were flooded with people enjoying their time and he didn't felt like calling their attention to him. So he refrained, putting his wand back to his pocket and hiding his face with his hands. Looking at his feet, with his fingers intertwined in his golden hair Klaus contemplating about what to do. It was unnerving having to be among so many people, he missed his space of retrieve. He felt it in his bones, the need for a break, to feel the silence and only filling it with his own thoughts, without so many noises of people laughing, talking, breathing! That's why he felt like piercing them with his gaze when he saw their shadow approaching closer, he just wanted whoever was approaching to pass, not even noticing him there, sitting on the porch of the cabin. His textbook was still open at his side, completely forgotten for a few moments, but now he just hold it back, attempting to look concentrated in his studies, trying to give the right signs, that he didn't wished to be interrupted!

Amina clicked her tongue rhythmically as she bounced, lost in thought, just beside the beat she had made herself. It was a beautiful summer's day, the sky a brilliant blue and the sun gilded the huts on the grounds.
With an indulgent sigh, the Bulgarian girl ran her fingers through her chin-long red hair, which clung beautifully to her magenta t-shirt, and then wiped the sweat from her forehead. She had just finished her daily jog. Anything to be fit for the upcoming Quidditch match. The event she had been looking forward to for a long time.
Her heart leapt with excitement every time she thought about it.
Her rosy cheeks made her light green eyes shine even brighter and her ever-present grin painted a little dimple on her chin.
Her heartbeat had already calmed after the physical exertion as she strolled whistling in the direction of her cabin.
She felt the parchment that her family had sent her in the pocket of her sports shorts. The thought of it deepened her smile. Although she wasn't the least bit worried that Durmstrang would play brilliantly and she would do her bit, it was nice to know that her family thought of her.
Only last night they had sent the letter. Have fun! Show them what flying is all about! And they had all signed it, even her brothers, who were at home with their parents at the moment, too.
Amina was a bit sad that she missed out on family time. Although her brothers were extremely annoying, of course, she missed the banter and the home Quidditch practices. But this here was as good as being with family. She was with her team and her friends - that was almost the same.
Nodding left and right to the people enjoying the beautiful weather, Amina whistled even louder. A few eyes followed her as she bounced around, loud and sultry and in an outrageous mood. Glitterbomb is probably what Johannes would have muttered now.
If she had known that she would only be a spectator at the upcoming game, her mood would have been different. But now she was protected by her gracious ignorance and completely herself.
Just outside her cabin, she suddenly flinched and stopped as a large owl unexpectedly swooped low over her head. Not that she was afraid. But she had not seen it coming.
With a frown, she ended her whistling with a long, low note and looked towards the spot from which the owl had probably come.
A boy who, as far as she knew, was also at Durmstrang, just a few classes below her, was sitting there with his face buried in his hands.
Amina tilted her head and bit her lip thoughtfully. The light broke through his golden hair and made her blink.
Hm. Why wasn't he out there laughing with all the other students? This was no day to sit around grumpy.
She couldn't let that happen. the grin returned to her face and her hand shot into her pocket. She still had a little of Slava's ubiquitous glitter in her pockets, which had also stuck to the notes she carried around.
She quickly picked off a corner of the parchment, deftly rolled it into a ball and threw it at the boy to attract his attention. Presumably some glitter had also come along the way.
She would not wait to see if it hit, but clicked her tongue loudly. "Hey, why so grumpy? Today is a beautiful day. Exercise makes you happy, you know." Her voice had taken on a sarcastic teacher's tone. The russian felt good as it rolled over her tongue. She grinned cheekily and built herself up to her full height.

Interacting with: @Ileen Knight as Amina PetrovicAnd it wasn't enough... the way he chose to hide from the attention of that approaching stranger. The open book in his lap was the place where a small ball of wrapped parchment had landed after passing over his shoulder leaving a trail of pink glitter behind, like a shooting star announcing...war! Klaus eyes left the written pages he had been staring blankly at and now were sending daggers to the red-haired girl, his nostrils opened in a threatening breathing, "And who called you?" He asked sharply, "I don't remember calling for your opinion, did I?" Shaking the glitter off his clothes, he closed the book in a sudden and unfriendly gesture. "If exercise makes you happy just run away from here" He suggested with malice and a narrowed expression, "Go be a happy nonsense someplace else!" He finished starting to get up on his feet.
He recognized her, he had seen her around their school, she never did an effort to pass unnoticed to be fair and honest. He knew she was one of the Durmstrang's champions, they had won last challenge and so she was not someone he particularly wanted to mess up with... but she really had chosen a bad day to bring him, and bath him with all that enthusiasm! It felt counternatural to him and definitely unwanted! "Whatever were your intentions, just keep moving alright?" He asked, still stubborn but in a much softer tone of voice, "Don't feel like talking right now!" He explained, turning his back on her and taking his wand out of his pocket again. For a moment he looked at it, considering again what to do next, "Unless..." he started thoughtfully, turning around facing her again. "Unless you know some more useful things to make this encounter a little more interesting?" At last a glint shone in his steel blue eyes while he shortly waved his wand at her, "Could use some practice with this!" He admitted with a soft smirk caressing his thin lips.
