A sweet afternoon
There was shopping for school in Diagon Alley, but Hera was now bored and tired. Only Protego's cauldron Shop remained and that, according to Hera, was the most boring part of shopping.
"Mom, you can have a cauldron without me. Its so boring. Why I go Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour?"
Before her mother Pearl opened her mouth, her aunt intervened. In a slightly harsh tone.
"No no. There are witches and wizards everywhere, you can get lost or something bad can happen to you."
Her aunt got a little angry when she spoke for her mother. She had asked her mother for permission, but her aunt had spoken for her. She knew he wanted her well-being, but that didn't stop him from getting angry.
"Star Diagon Alley isn't that big anyway, and Hera is too smart and mature to get lost. But don't go anywhere but the ice cream parlor, okay? We'll pick you up when you leave Protego's Cauldren Shop"
When she nodded, Pearl took 5 galleons from her purse and gave them to Hera. Hera happily hugged her mother and started walking towards the Ice Cream Shop.
She didn't think the Ice Cream Shop would be that full, as there were families doing school shopping all around. She escaped from the crowd and came to the cool Ice Cream Shop. As she walked towards the counter, the posters caught his attention. Normally her favorite is the waffle plate sundae, but this time she wanted a blueberry milkshake.
"Hello honey. What do you want?"
"One blueberry milkshake please."
The clerk watches the witch make her milkshake. Hera was relieved that the ice cream shop was a little more empty than usual.

A sweet afternoon
Rosa was sitting on the porch outside of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, watching people go by as she slowly ate her Brownie Alamode. She didn't like being out in the crowds, it made her slightly uncomfortable, way too many people. She had come to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour as a reward for herself, having completed all her shopping.
After several minutes she turned in her seat to watch as a girl with pale blonde hair walked up to the counter and ordered something.
Where are this girl's parents? Rosa thought to herself Maybe she's here alone, like me. I'll go talk to her.
She sat for several more minutes polishing off her delicious Brownie Alamode. Slowly she stood and walked over to the door and slipped inside. She sighed, it felt so nice and cool in here.
Rosa walked over to the girl, getting a little bit nervous. She decided to stand behind her and wait for the girl's dessert to be done. She watched as the witch made the treat and when the dessert was finally done the witch walked over to the clerk and handed it to him. He in turn reached out to hand it to the fair-skinned girl.

A sweet afternoon
Hera was watching the witch make the milkshake so intently that she didn't notice a girl coming into the shop and standing behind her. When the mixshake was finished preparing, she smiled at the witch and reached out to take it but she saw a hand acting before him. When she looked there, he saw a girl handing him a milkshake.
It was a girl with dark brown hair that reached just above her shoulders and black glasses. She immediately dismissed this strange situation and smiled and took the milkshake from the girl's hand.
"Thank you."
She said this in a daze. She was in a bit of an awkward situation and his response was a bit lackluster. Then she realized she had some more money in her pocket. She wanted to make up for this lackluster answer.
"Hey, I have some more money. I can buy you dessert if you want. Even if you don't, I'd love for you to join me."
I hope this will be enough to make you forget my dull answer, he thought. Then he realized that the girl still didn't know her name.
"By the way I dont know your name. My name is Hera. Hera Green. What's yours?"
She held out the hand that wasn't holding the milkshake for her to shake.
"Where would you like to sit?"

A sweet afternoon
Rosa handed the milkshake to the girl. The girl thanked her and then everything was so silent, you could’ve heard a pin drop. Rosa mentally rolled her eyes, -she didn’t want the pretty girl to think she was rolling her eys at her so she mentally did- the barista and clerk were probably eavesdropping on them.
Then the girl began to talk, fast. The girl offered to buy her a dessert, wich was super nice. She also invited her to hang out. Then she asked for her name, and after that, she asked where they'd like to sit. Rosa looked at the girl and smiled, then opened her mouth to speak.
"I just finished eating one of those Brownie Alamode things, so you don't have to buy me anything. The name is Rosa by the way." She said as she reached out and shook her hand.
"And maybe we could sit out on the porch area? It's nice and sunny and warm out there. I always get really cold when I eat ice cream or a milkshake."
Silently Rosa cursed herself, she was rambling again! She berated herself as she tried to think of something to say that would ease the awkwardness while they walked out to the porch.
