Closed A Day of Training Brisk Basilisks PV Vale & June

Very few people seemed willing to obtain the role as a broom racing captain for the Brisk Basilisks. Maybe its the alleged curse that the team suffers, maybe its just the typical Slytherin persona of not wanting to get injured and dirtied. Maybe its because the team is currently holding a potential future arsonist who would throw her own team mates into her own fires that she set. Whatever the case, the role was a tough hole to be filled. And unfortunately, the curse of the Brisk Basilisks has once again took hold with the top contender for the role being the arsonist herself, Vale Ashwood.

Instead of working on her own to throw her peers into the fires, now she can strategize a way to send them into fires on their own. And speaking of said fires, the young girl was blabbing away a nonsense plan of her own at that very moment. Apparently she has been working it up since her time away at summer camp.

As she blabbed the plan away to nobody (with the assumption that her fellow captain was still listening) in particular, Vale hung upside down on her broom as it slowly flew around the course. Her braids dangled, held by the laws of physics. If anyone asked for her reasoning behind it, it isn't part of her current plan. No, it just made her feel like a bat.

"I was thinking the entire team should wear fire-proof vests. There's no rule for that. We can set the entire place on fire as we go along!" The plan was genius, according to her. That way they can be sure the entire place is submerged in flames. "We will still go along the finish line! We just got to remember to set the other team on fire too!" A crackle escape the girl's mouth. It was a wonder if her entire goal was to ever go across the finish line of any race she's in. It wouldn't be unassuming that she's just there for the sake of causing chaos without getting detentions for it.

"My father always says the best thing to do to win a race, is to make sure the referees aren't able to arrive to the race at all! They can't catch something if they're not there to see it! But I don't think the best solution for that is murder. It'd be difficult to find the time to hide the bodies."
