Musicians Corner Practice Party!
Charlie had been running a club since the beginning of her first year, which seemed crazy, to her. It was now the beginning of her second year, and Charlie knew she had to do another meeting. But the first meeting she had hosted had been slightly hectic and extremely stressful. So of course, this time around she wanted to do something a little less crazy and difficult for her to manage. So after some thinking, she settled on a group practice session. After all, practicing with other people or friends was much more fun than practicing all by yourself.
When Charlie finalized the details, she sent out an owl to all of her club members. It read:Dear members of The Musicians Corner Club,
I am hoping to get the club back together for a simple practice meeting/ hang out! Bring your instruments and and music creations or pieces you have been working on! We will chat, eat snacks (feel free to bring some) and play music! Think of it as a music party!

When- September 22; 4pm-5pm
Where- The Rehearsal Room
Why: For fun!

Before the meeting, Charlie made sure to arrive early and post her notes on the board. She set her large plate of cookies and basket of goblets and punch down on the center table of the room. She had the room arranged for a more practice-y type of set up, so members would feel less nervous when getting up to go and practice. Charlie liked the way it was set up so you could go and practice with a friend, or sit at one of the smaller groups. There was enough room for everyone, and one extra, just in case someone brought a friend. Charlie always encouraged that, mainly because she wanted the club to grow and succeed. Charlie spread out the little food she brought one one of the larger tables, hoping there were enough cookies for everyone to have one.
Just then, the first member entered the room.

| ─── | It was Friday, September 22nd, 2023.
He'd changed his hair color again. There was something wrong with him, obvious to those who knew him. Even though Kim was the type of person to consistently change his hair color, it was only once a month. But now he was doing it whenever the mood struck him, which was nearly every day or every few days. Worse, he was even using color-changing spells to do so, instead of doing it by hand. The color was supposed to be white. But it was currently black and had been since July, ever since the incident had taken place. Kim headed to the rehearsal room, where the Musician's Corner meeting was going to be held. He would be early. As usual. He was always either early or late to avoid the crowd build-ups at the doors. For the first time, Kim hadn't brought anything to the meeting to eat or drink. This was another sign that something was wrong with him because it had become a trademark of his to always bring something savory or sweet to club meetings. Upon reaching the meeting, Kim saw he was the first one to arrive, other than the club leader of course. But it was to be expected as he had come early. "Yo." He said, raising a hand into the air to Charlie. That was it. Kim would nod to Charlie if she responded to his greeting and then would go take a seat at one of the tables. |
