"Okay, it seems you have a lot of energy to spend today, no need for scheduling your detention for a different day." Meli started walking towards the front of her desk, so her eyes met the boy's blue ones, "Start to work, I want my classroom without a trace of dust, not even a grain of it!" She explained looking intently at him, "Without magic, no wand or spells. Inside that cabinet..." Melisande pointed to a small honey-colored wooden cabinet, "You can find the cleaning supplies you need." She said then had a glance at her wristwatch, "You have thirty minutes until my next class to clean up." She informed.

Melisande walked to the other side of her desk and sat down in her comfortable chair, picking up one of the many books she had on her working table. "Common, hurry up!" She said arching her eyebrow at him in a demanding way, "And the snake stays until I want, she seems to be a nice company." Meli finished finally opening her book and starting to read, "And then, we will have a word with your father. And yes, I do know Octavius." She said with a smirk, "Logan...isn't it?" She asked, clearly suspicious of the information the boy had given her, "Your father will be proud of you!" She finished with sarcasm.

Cleaning with a Rattlesnake pv detention
Trapped behind bars, he was in jail, prison for life.

Was he really? Not necessarily. He was instead incarcerated in the greyed stoney building in the ugly History of Magic class. As he approached the door to the room where he was to feel days of his life slipping away quicker than a tornado ripping a house out of the ground.

Quicker than walking up to someone and demanding that they give you their lunch money.

By the way, Clark had tried that once- apparently money cannot buy food in Hogwarts- apparently it's free. Drat the school's generosity.

"Oh? Without a trace of dust? Couldn't afford to dust your own room eh?" He said as rudely as he could knowing of the potential consequences that could originate from it. "Listen up Annie," Clark said referencing a singer-songwriter. "You owe me this much, I clean up this room and I get free Outstandings from now on, no matter what, and if dad asks, you can-" And quickly before throwing his wand towards the new History of Magic Professor, "Well you didn't exactly take up my wand. Anyways, off to cleaning I go."

As he looked inside the closet, he wished there was literal magic inside the closet so he could somehow make everything he threw in vanish- however- it was a boring ol closet. As he took another look around the classroom, he realized it might take more effort than he really wanted to contribute.

Absolutely disgusting. "How could YOU make this mess? And don't you dare tell my father, I will make sure everything is destroyed if father knows." His attempts to be intimidating was minor at best, but he knew that if he- wait- the sooner he could get straight to work, the sooner he would get the hell out of this class, which meant that he could pour rotten tuna on his cousin's bed again.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean that. Please forgive me, even if the snake vanished- seemingly by burning from the inside out. But I'm not dealing with a snake in the room when I'm cleaning." Full disclosure, he did deal with the snake in the room. Every single move he made he felt like he was being watched.

Out came Clark's hands from the closet. He had the mop and the cleaner. He mopped the floor, intentionally making it extra wet so it took longer dry so hopefully if Clark ran out and the professor ran after him, he wouldn't be caught, instead the professor would've fell.

No no. No time to think. He needed to get this done. Picking up the desks. Yes. That's a good step to make. As he picked up the desks, he began to realize how heavy and how the desks were taller than he was. That was bullshit. One by one, he grunted and pushed them back onto their own four legs. Never again shall he do that and commit the horrid crimes to earn the punishment that would make him suffer.

Time to continue. He grabbed a rag and attempted to knock off as much dust as he could, hating every bit of it, and even sneezing all over the desks. Perfect. More to clean.

He finished dusting the desks but now had to basically sanitize the desk. Soaking the rag in water, he wetted the desk and then added soap and scrubbed as hard as he could as an attempt to eradicate it to the best of his ability. And he felt he was done.

It wasn't perfect but he did what he could with what was in the closet, oh but he didn't use the broom.

As he reached into the closet to get the broom, he threw the rag into it and slammed it closed. The broom brushed over the floor and he swept as slowly as he could to prevent the dirt from flying everywhere. By the time he got to every corner of the room, he was done.

Finally done.
