Closed I Never Want To Do This Again.

Sage is not excited for this flying lesson, she has never been too fond of flying on a broom. She always feels like she's going to fall off, and usually she does. She is not excited at all, but unfortunately she doesn't have a choice. She would more than likely, embarrass herself in front of all of the first years in her class. She does not want to do this.

The class finally starts and everyone lines up by the brooms, and no one looks as nervous as Sage does. She is incredibly nervous and still does not want to do this. She did not want to do this..

She knows that they're not actually going to fly, that didn't matter to her nerves though.

The time came where she had to get one the broom, she didn't want to, she really didn't want to. The professor said the instructions and left them to do their thing, watching closely.

Sage took a deep breath finally let herself calm down. She got herself on the broom, she was levitating not very far from the ground but she her heart was beating fast and she wanted down immediately. She never wanted to do that again.

Damian had no problem with flying, or brooms in general. As pure-blood, he was taught how to mount at a young age and practised for many years before going to Hogwarts: he liked to think of himself as a prodigal rider, but the reality was that he just knew how to ride a broom correctly without any sort of problems.

That’s why he looked so bored before and during that particular flying class: they were required to mount their broom and simply levitate, a simple demonstration to allow everyone who wasn’t familiar with brooms to learn from scratch. Many students looked thrilled and impatient to learn, some others looked bored exactly like Damian, and some others were a bit shy and nervous to try. “What are they nervous about? That’s nothing.” he thought while getting ready to do what the professor had said as quickly as possible, so that he would have been free to revise something more useful in the remaining time.

He elegantly called his broom with a secure and fierce tone of voice, and just as elegantly he mounted it with a clean and precise movement. With his hands securely placed on the broomstick, he kicked the ground and let himself levitate just as much as he was allowed to. Finally, he returned to the ground, even more bored than before.

His attention went on another student near him who was clearly anxious, maybe even afraid, and since he had nothing better to do he kept watching her for a while. He observed her movements and once she got back on the ground, he finally spoke. “First time?” he asked with a neutral tone. “You’ll get used to it.” he added, and covered a yawn with the hand that wasn’t carrying the broom.

Ezra had completed his flying lesson with more enthusiasm than he would have ever expected from it, and he was better at it than he thought he was going to be. after landing on the floor again, more or less gracefully, he stood on the grass grinning like it was his wedding day. man that was cool, he thought to himself when he overheard a curly-headed gryffindor boy speaking to a seemingly frightened brunette slytherin girl.

"First time?" he asked in a neutral tone, but Ezra read some pureblood arrogance in it. Which he couldn't condemn really, the boy was really ahead of most of his classmated with the whole flying thing.
"You'll get used to it" the boy added

Ezra raised an eyebrow.
"Used to it? Mate, I was just flying on a bloody stick. How am I supposed to get used to flying on a bloody broomstick? Is this how normality is like now?"
