Octavius had to go take off prior attending the Summer Camp to watch over one of the cabins, quickly as he could, and with that was the reasoning of trying to find a replacement Lava Lamp just in case as he knew how destructive his son could be. He walked into one of the antique stores near Kings Cross Station, just so he could make his way to Hogwarts once he made his purchase.

He had already exchanged the galleons for muggle currency, specifically pounds.

As he walked in, a bell rung as the door was opened, and he laughed. There were vintage porcelain dolls lining the shelves, some junk items like glass mugs or cups that had a rather infamous soda brand on it, wicker chairs, old doors it seemed, grandfather clocks.

This store seemed to be kind of like a thrift store but a bit more costly.

There were also vintage toys, but if he ever had another kid or adopted another kid, perhaps he'd go buy the kid some vintage toys, again, not why he was here.

Along the back of the store, he spotted some lava lamps. Exactly what he was looking for, but they cost between 39.68 pounds to 238.11 pounds, which was quite a bit in the long run, but he wanted to make sure he had an extra.

Randomly picking, and by that he closed his eyes and spun around, he selected a random lava lamp off the shelf. It was 159 pounds, which was a fine medium between the two extremes in his opinion, but it also looked okay to him. It had a bronze cap- which went on top of the glass and an bronze hourglass base in which the glass would've been set in.

He sang to himself as he navigated the store a bit more to see what else he could buy. It was a song he heard off the store's speakers, and due to the accent of the singer, he knew it was american, the country genre.

He found the song to be a bit sad, and a bit catchy. As the chorus came in for the third time, he sang along.

It struck him that it would be Clark one day. He could pass and Clark might never come home. He wasn't sure how to feel about that, and it made him tear up just a bit.

Who wanted to lose the ones they loved? That was like taking something that means everything to you away from you- leaving you all alone and sad.

The song switched to something else, and Octavius stopped listening and decided to go check out the lamp. Once he paid for it, he got onto the Hogwarts Express and prepared himself for the schools incoming.
