On My Way
Addi Kalk was on her way to Hogwarts, her first year. She awaited with her family for the train to arrive. Her hair blew in the wind and across her eyes as the train came to a stop, Addi leaned over to her parents and gave them a goodbye hug she picked up her trunk and made her way towards the train. Addi got more nervous each step, her brother comforted her knowing how tuff it can be leaving. Addi's brother who is a third year walked off to meet up with his friends and left Addi to find her own way, she made it onto the train and found an empty carriage. Just then a taller girl with short black hair walked in, she pointed at the free seat and Addi nodded and the girl made her way to the seat.
As the train pulled off Addi waved sadly to her parents, the train ride was quiet and slow. Just then she heard the bells of the Honeyduke express lolly cart, soon she heard the lady’s voice yelling about all the sweets they had, Addi decided that she might as well get one chocolate frog. The girl across from her just ignored the lady and kept looking out the window.
After, Addi's brother stuck his head into the carriage " I finally found you! I came to let you know that's it is time to change into your robes." he said loudly. He ended up giving the other girl a fright, Addi could tell by the way she jumped. The other girl looked at him and then realised something. She then said quickly before he could run off again " Hey, your Sebastian! You made it on the front cover for Daily Prophet because of you grades!" Addi snickered to herself as her brother ran off with a smirk. The girl finally said something that was not directed at Addi's brother, " Well he is right we should get ready into our robes." Addi made her way back to the carriage after changing into her robes, the other girl was sitting there ready too. As they waited the train soon came to a halt and they heard the whistle blow for their destination.
